Microsoft: Ryse: Son of Rome, will be in NATIVE 1080p TCHBO GOTY!!

Microsoft-Crytek Joins Forza 5 as a Full HD launch game. Ryse: Son of Rome, one of three Microsoft-published launch titles for Xbox One, will run natively in 1080p, Microsoft's chief of staff for Devices and Studios Group Aaron Greenberg has confirmed. Asked on Twitter if Xbox One games are running in native 1080p, Greenberg responded: "I can only speak for our games, I know Ryse and Forza will be native 1080p."

They should focus in fixing the crappy gameplay first.

You must be trolling. Ryse gameplay looks shit and the graphics(all Crytek is good for) are inferior to Shadow Fall as well. Plus Shadow will run MP at 60fps.

All of Sony's retail launch games except maybe Battlefield 4 will run in native 1080p so this topic is so stupid.

All MP components of games look worse than their single player counterparts and you are making assumptions that that MP won't be able to hold a steady 60fps. Nice assumption off a build shown at least 2 months before the game goes gold. Guerilla Games knows what they are doing technically and no one can dispute that.

1080p isn't too diifcult with a game like RYSE that appears to have a very slow pace with stand-in-one-spot combat. (as opposed to FPS, open world or driving games with large view distances and fast-moving gameplay)

You walk around like a zombie performing canned executions in enclosed environments like arenas and dungeons.

Exactly I thought 1080p/30fps was the minimum expectation for all next Gen games...not something praiseworthy.

Ryse is one of my two Day One purchases along with Dead Rising 3. Im just a big Sparticusfan and I love the style and graphics of this. I'm hoping foir a strong single player and multiplayer side. Fingers crossed, but I like what I see thus far.

MP looks TERRIBLE, but I read the SP looks decent. Not gonna hate so hope you enjoy it.

Forza and Ryse are looking fantastic, if I get a xbox on eat launch those 2 will definatly be bought (Dead Rising 3 has some potential to).
