Microsoft, Smash this PS3 announcement

Put an elitebundle out in October/November with Forza 3/Halo ODST for $299. This would sell amazingly. I know they won't, but it would definitely put a damper on Sony's parade.

FFXIII bundle in japan or GT5/uncharted2 bundle in NA and europe will blow that away.

misleading title, i thought something was confirmed with a new game announcement or something. sony could always counter by including a game like uncharted 2 or gt5 if that comes out this year. we'll have to see what effect this price drop has, microsoft might not bother if the impact isn't too large and the 360 continues to sell well.

If they did lower the price they wouldn't bundle new games with it.

They'll have a 2 game giveaway sure, but I don't think it will be either of those 2 new titles. Sony is likely going to have their own freebies in November(game+movie).

Anyway, it wouldn't make much since, especially to pack in Halo ODST. The game will most likely sell well anyway. IF they were to do that, they would essentially be giving away those games for free.

I think they should wait and watch the results of this price drop for a few months before doing anything.
