Microsoft STUNK OUT THE JOINT at this years E3... worst conference by far

They pretty much had 0 new big game announcements.... just games we already knew about... Haze, MGS4 and UT3 staying exclusive on PS3, which had better looking, more intruiging software... while Nintendo did as Nintendo does and showed 2 big new games WiiFit (love it or hate it it will take Wii sales to the stratosphere) and Mario Kart... the Wii really is in a class of its own.

Halo 3 failed to capture the attention that was expected as well.

Big dissapointment from MS all around, especially considering they are in direct competition with Sony, who arguably had the best show. MS has a nice lead against Sony right now... and they're playing with fire by sitting back on their laurels like this...

No. MS showed why 360 is THE console to own in Fall 2007. They showed us games? boo hoo who cares about them right? Why was assassins creed and COD4 demo showed on MS's conference and not Sony's? Mayb because those games will sell more on 360. We got LAODS of trailers too. Did you go take a wii when the RE5 teaser was shown?Riviera_Phantom

Microsoft had no reason to rush. They are in the first place, and they have the best line-up for the holidays, which is exactly why they focused on what they have to offer the rest of this year and these holidays. All games they presented - RE 5 being the only exception - were slated for release this year...I think it was pretty obvious what they were aiming for.

Expect big and new announcement for 2008/2009 games to be at TGS or X07. Ninja Gaiden 2, Cry On, Dead or Alive: Code Chronus, Banjoo Threei, an eventual new Perfect Dark game, Alan Wake, Too Human, Halo Wars etc.

yea all the sony fanboys are doin that to bash on the 360 and all wii owners do that to cover up their confrence and the ps3 fanboys dont care if the wiis confrence sucked more cuz they just wanna bash the 360. oh and its the same way around the 360 are trying to bash the wiis confrence but not the ps3 cuz they know that the ps3s was better. Why are people not seeing this?

It's sort of been a dissapointing E3 all round so far, no one really dazzled, and most people are giving Sony the edge because they unveiled one new game, while two of the major players (Sony and MS) chose to mainly rely on pumping out more of established franchises and announced IPs, Nintendo has apparently scorned many by it's 'un-serious' approach at their conference.

The sequel to what many sheep hail as last gen's best game isn't a big deal? I got what I wanted... MS already had *way* more announced upcoming than their competitors anyways... E3 was Sony/Nintendo's chance to play catchup - at least one of them put a good a good effort in.AfterShafter

And I truly believe that you are delusional if Wii passes X360 in sales this year; especially when the long awaited Xbox-flagship is about to launch in a couple of months; not to mention the rest of the holiday line-up.

The 360 seems to be more "niche" market and PS3 is more "mass market" PS3 has more variety,something for everyone,while M$ keeps saying...we have Halo,Then M$ turns around and says "We have GTA San Andreas on Xbox and now we are getting GTA4...How many copies did it sell on Xbox? 2 million? and what? 12 million on PS2? AFAIK, they announced Infamous, a new IP.

I may be wrong, but if one (and excuse me to Infamous fans, but nothing that seems to merit immense hype) new game being announced swinging the winner of E3? I don't think the losers of E3 are in bad shape, E3 is.
