There are a ton of 'design flaws' with the idea and overall execution behind Project Spark. And I know, its very hard to say that when the creator is YOU! is a core aspect of this game's appeal, but take that into account for a moment...
Much of Project Spark is shaped by LBP and Minecraft in that its different worlds designed by gamers, but that pretty much limits you to the toolset the game hands you, and that will ultimately be the greatest limiting factor of this game. It is what held back LBP. inFamous 2's mission editor had more potential, but it was pretty hard to reach that skill level. GTA5's objective/mission editor looks to be slightly more streamlined (so far), but it'll still run into the issue of being user-made, and that comes with a GIANT fluctuation in overall quality.
The fact of the matter is that the standout 'custom games' in console games with in-game game editors can be counted on one-hand, maybe even two, and the reason for this is that
a) Majority of consumers aren't good game designers
b) The amount of time it takes to make a compelling custom level/game is too much for the majority of fans to actually do it, including the potential 'good designers' among them.
It is too much to ask from your audience to go ahead and 'here is the tool set, make the game for yourselves! The sky is the limit' when most people buy and play games to relax and be engaged, not work (which developing any good custom game in any of these modes certainly will take a LOT of).
And before anyone says "Oh, well what about Minecraft! Isn't that the same thing?", Let me cut you off - No, Minecraft ISN'T the same thing. In Minecraft, the core gameplay is to create and share your world and to work together with other players to do so. You aren't creating gameplay in Minecraft - that IS the gameplay, and the mechanics of the game are built towards those inherents strengths.
[QUOTE="Jakandsigz"]Technically Dakota does start with a D.R4gn4r0k
Have they made anything before ?
They made a tech demo. Otherwise nope, they are a new studio, with their first game being this, it will make or break them.Why's that?[QUOTE="Jakandsigz"][QUOTE="Shensolidus"]

I don't see how you can defend Minecraft when they have an accessible mode in this game(or so they say) that does the exact same thing. Otherwise you have some points. I may rent it if it comes out. Maybe. If it's really good I will buy i, but I want to see this executed and reviewed.[QUOTE="Shensolidus"][QUOTE="Jakandsigz"] Why's that?Jakandsigz

This is a game about making custom games. Them saying that just makes it sound like they are trying to appeal to too many and do too much all at once. I haven't seen anything in this game that appeals to the Minecraft player; all i've seen (and all they've shown) is what appeals to the game developer fantasy.Â
