Aside from the uncredible source, I also have to note that the money was a loan to Rockstar. Rumor has it, if Microsoft didn't get their money back in revenue (which they did)from the DLC, Rockstar would have to pay the difference. Its a win, win situation for either side.

I'm sorry TC, but nothing from your source is credible. And besides... how could you tell what money went where? For example, my wife and I have a joint checking account that our paychecks automatically go into. If I swipe my debit card to buy some Cheetos, I can't tell which dollar came from where... it's just comes out of the pile in the bank.

Same with rockstar north. They have several revenue stream available. when they started putting money into the new title, it just came out of the pile. They didn't make a "Screw MS" account to cash the 50 million check from Bill Gates and then use that one account to fund only Agent development. Most people do not act and think like fanboys.

Developers can do what they want with the money they earned.

It doesn't mean they did this to spite the Xbox360.

All developers need money to fund projects.

It's like saying PS3 owners buy games and that money also help fund future games that can appear on other consoles.

Second of all, that 50mil went into funding the GTAIV expansion packs.

Did MS tell them not to make a game for another console did they?

All it is they paid money to make exclusive content for a game on the Xbox360. To help entice customers to get that version.

The developers did the job, earned their money and use it how they see fit and they used that money to fund another game or pay their expenses or whatever.
