[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"]If you played a lot of last-gen fighters I could see the problem. I don't play those though. I agree that with games like Street Fighter it's not really handy having a d-pad like this, but seriously,it's not that bad as people make it out to be.I don't see the problem with the regular d-pad.Sure,it isn't perfect, but people are blowing this d-pad stuff up.

the new controllers are comming out the 9th and there is no gurantee they will be available in the 360's them selves. And the new dpad is reviewed as not being that much better which isn't surprising since the problems with the dpad wasn't is suface but the inner workings, I modded my 360 controller my self sanding down the rim, and cutting down ridges on the dpad inside and recreating the connecting surface and it works great now.

Besides, anyone serious about their fighting games will either get a pad or arcade stick.[QUOTE="donalbane"][QUOTE="Lto_thaG"]

Yeah pretty much this. I'm no fan of the d-pad, but since I don't play much of the fighting genre I'm ultimately cool with it. I may use it every now and again for some extra function in a game, but it always responds nicely. To tell you the truth I have a bigger problem with games that require you to push down on the analog sticks, i.e the running motion in COD, or the scoping action in Halo. Thanks to pushing down so much my left analog stick no longer responds when I push it down.

I brought this for my PC but it works with the 360 aswell.
Remmib
Analog sticks place right next to each other = fail design.
LOL, fanboy!
Anyway the main feature of the Saitek Cyborg is that you can change the stick and pad placement at will, to resemble a Dualshock or a normal 360 controller.

Oh that is pretty nifty. I'm not a fanboy...I just tell it like it is.
I agree, d-pad is not used a lot in games now, besides item selecting and whatnot.I don't see the problem with the regular d-pad.Sure,it isn't perfect, but people are blowing this d-pad stuff up.
