Minor hype inducing MadWorld gifs.Now even MOAR (Could even kill your broadband)

I always love it when users make gifs of upcoming games that are lookers, sadly, no one has yet made any of MadWorld. Yes MadWorld is a looker. Not because of it's technical achievements, but the artstyle is interesting to say the least. Due to the absence of these MadWorld gifs I have decided to take manners into my own hand. And so here they are.

(Note: These are my first gifs and for some reason they are very slow when watched in IE. Firefox displays them correctly though. Give it some time to load)

This game looks awesome but like No More Heroes I guarantee it won't sell

Thank you. I use Wii as my secondery gaming device (PC gamer at heart), and it's a really good secondary choice, if not primary.

If you guys have any suggestions about other parts of the trailer that would be cool, I would be glad to make them. Don't feel much like studying :P

From what I see Madworld is a graphically unimpressive game. But so is SOTC, and so is WoW, but many people find those games to be downright gorgeous.

Madworld's look is just a gimmick so the devs can brag about how creative and abstract they are.

of course this is all simply IMO

Those are great, and I need a new sig.

This is the only reason I feel that my Wii will actually get played once before it gose back to collecting dust. That or I can actually find some of those now-rare Gamecube games like Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, F-Zero GX, etc.foxhound_fox

F-Zero GX is a must buy IMO.

I can respect that. But it's a bit more than just a black and and white picture. The character design has a distinct comic book like **** Here are no shades of gray. Just black and white. This is what makes it unique. From to top of my head I can't think of any game that looks remotely similar to this. But, the creators have probably used this s t y l e to cover up the weaknesses of the Wii, more that to be artsy.

Glad to hear that. This game and Platinum can use all the support they can.

I can totally see where you're coming from. Sin City was awesome, but I wouldn't want another movie to use the same style. I also believe that any other game that used this style after MadWorld would be overdoing it. Such a special art s t y l e is only cool as long as it's special.

Why don't you make some for The Conduit? After all besides the negative hype on this forum, all the major review sites have been giving it positive previews.

I love the look of this game. i want to make a couple requests. Both are from the first trailer. The "heart surgery" thing and the way the character uses a street pole to stab somebody.

It looks more like streets of rage imo. Capcom said it has multiplayer, I hope that means co-op.

How is this a Gears of War Wannabe?

1. It's not a shooter.

2. It's not the same artstyle.

3. It does't even has the same type of story or atmosphere.

Also, I assume I'll like it more then Gears of War, because Gears was fun for about 2 days, before all of us said, "Screw this, lets play Halo 2."

I thought is was going to be set in an MC Escher type world when I first saw your gifs.

Seriously i'm not that much in the MadWorld hype, i prefer Disaster, but like any other game, lets wait to see more of it. great gifs BTW.

I think I'm the only one who doesn't really care for this game. I never was a fan of over the top violence, though I do enjoy the artstyle.

Oh well, I'll reserve my judgement when I get to play it. :)

Well to be perfectly honest, I'm being very cautious with The Conduit. The story and gameplay seem very generic to me, and we really don't know much about the game. The last could also be said for MadWorld, but at at least MadWorld has a developers behind it with a good pedigree, while The Conduit not so much. Finally I don't understand the hype for Conduit graphics, sure they look good for the Wi, but they are definitely not the best (Prime, Galaxy, Brawl). But I'll see what I can do tomorrow

i thought sheep were the ones complaining that games like gears of war and killzone had no colors in them besides gray and they were terrible for that sole reason?

anyway, IMO this game looks really bad. but we'll see when it actually comes out.

I use windows movie maker to extract the right scenes, and then convert them into gifs with photoshop CS3 extended. In my sig is my newest creation :)
