For a second I asked myself basically the same question but replace vita with ps3. I went with get it now since I really want to play the game.

it got the battle system alright but is still missing on a shit ton of stuff like the melodramatic yet manly storyline, the buttload of mini-games and all the weird shit that Yakuza is known for. Because man, Yakuza is quirky as ****.

This looks awesome, my type of game. Any news on the ps4 release? I may just get the Vita version hmmmm
