Well you seem to care about MLB's sales. It charts every year, usually for 2-3 months in a row. Halo Wars 2 failed to chart at all which is embarrassing for Xbox's flagship franchise.

Its sales totals? Nope.

The fact that cows will post "lolsportsgames" about other sports games but not MLB because its exclusive even though many here don't buy or play it? Absolutely.

But Halo Wars isn't a flagship franchise.

Was that Uncharted Fight for Fortune on PS3, strategic turn based game included as Uncharted main line games? No, its was a spin off and completely different genre of game.

Who are these cows you speak of? Sports games sell very well on PS4. Sounds like you're just being paranoid.

Fight for Fortune wasn't released on PS3 so nice try. And yes Halo is MS's flagship. Just because its not a FPS release doesn't mean it doesn't count. The first one debuted at #3 on the charts while the sequel failed to chart at all.

So who made this rule that HW counts as full on franchise Halo as it is consumed by the mass consumer market? You? Because in my HW2 hype thread a cow echoed what they said 8 years ago: it received artificial sales because people mistakenly think it is a traditional Halo game. So which is it? And who says it counts? Please clarify.

If the name HALO is just supposed to sell massively, regardless of genre or product why do Lego outsell Mega bloks? They have the Halo name.

@getyeryayasout: I'd like to be a digital Gary Sanchez through an entire season... The baby bombers could cause some damage this year. I'm excited for baseball... But no, not buying. The show is very slow and I don't get my money's worth out of it. Baseball Sim games walk a fine line when they try and be too simple heavy. There should always be a sense of "video game" in baseball, not cut scenes of players tightening their batting gloves. I don't want a TV broadcast setting or to manage unhappy players. I basically want Mvp baseball to have a baby with baseball stars.

Super mega baseball 2 is my next baseball game. I can't wait!

I will say that they are putting an arcade classic mode in the new show and that us exciting to me.

So again we're going to compare a game that had 28 days to chart in 2009 vs a game that had 7 days to chart in 2017; majority of sales were physical 8 years ago vs the Play Anywhere incentive to buy digital but NO digital sales are counted by NPD? STAY REKT KID

This is why El tormy has shut up about this. He was blabbing "its on 2 platforms and still didn't chart". Well how could we know it didn't chart? There was NO physical PC release and only a fool would turn down 2 digital copies for the price of one through Play Anywhere. But no digital are counted.

Holy that is some of the most uncomfortable images I've ever seen. I think that if a game uses monsters like those I wouldn't be able to play for more than 10 minutes.

My hype is AAE because this is Lemspot. But anyways another awesome Quad exclusive. Even baseball fans think the bone is irrelevant nowadays.

I have MLB09 and MLB15. I will definately be getting MLB The Show 21!

Arcade mode sold me on buying The Show this year. Well that and the fact I have PSN credits burning a hole in my pocket from passing on Mass Effect Andromeda. I skipped The Show 16 because the feature I used the most, Vita cross play, was omitted.

I was also a fan of Ken Griffey Jr when I was a kid. Everybody on every baseball team I was on tried to copy his swing. I even had a buddy that learned to bat left handed because of Griffey.

It will get an 8/10 because GS is notoriously shit at reviewing sports games. "duurrrrr idk, looks pretty and it has a roster update. 8 i guess"-yearly GS sports reviews.

Next time I feel like delving into a horror game I'll be sure to pick up MLB the Show 2017.

If you have the current one that means you need to get rid of it asap since every time a new one comes out they seem to shut down the servers for the old one.
