Hi

I know both games aren't out yet, but as I can not possible afford two wrestling gamers per year (at least not in 2010 when there are so many great games to purchase and play) I was wondering if I should get UFC 2010 next week or wait till end of the year for MMA? I'm hyped up for both and have no idea which one is better so I really need a word from you pro gamers out there :)

The UFC 2010 is on PSN/Live for people to download, here is more news on MMA: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/109/1092051p1.html

Thanks in advance :P

Just from what I've seen, MMA looks rougher, kind of like they're rushing to compete, which it could do splendidly for all I know because I don't even know when it's supposed to be released and might be wrong as all hell. End of the year you say? Perhaps they will have made it all shiny by then. But UFC 2010 is is a reiteration on a game that was already pretty solid, so I can't really see MMA being the more complete-feeling game. But then on the other hand, MMA is supposedly built on top of Fight Night parts. So...who knows. And then there's the matter of if you already own the first UFC. MMA is bound to feel different, UFC 2010 will be more of the same.

I was gonna say something about THQ being dicks with the online access, but I guess EA will be doing almost the exact same thing with their game. So it seems like you're screwed there either way.

Summary: I don't know.

Hope this helped.

None of the above. THQ is perpetuating the charging $$$ to unlock online multiplayer on used games that started with EA Sports titles.

UFC 09 was a garbage arcade game. It felt like a remodeled WWE game. I have no doubt EA MMA is going have more depth. People who have played Fight Night will agree. Hardcore die hard Tapout UFC fans wont give anything else a chance.

Waiting for the next fight night, simply because boxing is much easier to simulate.
