mmo on consoles , has dc made the cut?

well im currently playing dc universe online on my ps3 . it works perfect iv played mmos on the pc and have to say this works great on the ps3, and there also is a good community that will hopefully carry on past the 30 days i think there going to need to make more servers in the EU, also every one that plays it seems to enjoy it. there are a few that are getting bugs etc but iv not encounted any at all none what so ever.

i know alot of users are going to post about how mmos are better on pcs but as ignorant as some are you must admit this game works fine on the ps3

does it mean there are going to be more to come for the ps3 ?

I just can't get over the idea of having to pay an extra $15 a month just to play a game I've already payed full retail for. Just plain crazy talk in my opinion. No thank youNuck81

Never played a mmo on console. How is it? For a mmo the communication is essential and if everybody is playing with gamepads it turns into a silent place with peoples around.

Well, you don t have to pay 15 every month of your goddamn life lol. If you get bored just let your subscription freeze and later on when U want to play again you reactivate it. It's not something what gets stuck on you or something. And remember that MMO's get loads of patches, content updates regularly wich justify the price or else you still would be shoving cash to get that stuff in DLC form. And how do you think they keep the servers up and running, for free? Lol. All that stuff costs loads of money. It isn't a **** console p2p environment.

Again, if you like the game you pay for it, if you don't like it move on...

on the matter of communication, im sure DC has headset support and KB and M support aswell(in b4 get it for PC).

From what i heard from a Co-worker its a lot of fun abliet some areas are a tad rough but still thatsas he puts it.

FFXI said hai and its one of the only games to be greenlit that can be played with a silver acc.All you needed was your playonline FFXI sub.From what i remember correctly.

It's easely the best console MMORPG and thanks to the universal PSN the payment of the subscription works pretty well. That said it really was an important step for console MMORPGs

I love screaming at guys to do stuff on MAG when your platoon leader and stuff.

The upcoming next gen consoles will have 1-2gb of ram and I'm sure that will be the gen when MMOs really start coming to consoles.

Why do people say this? MMOs CAN succeed on consoles, devs just have to make them more fast paced and action orientated than the ones on PC since there aren't lots of buttons for skills and such.

Console online keeps improving and next gen we will see a fair amount of ram in them. Devs aren't going to ignore a big potential market for MMOs just because a few people want to keep them strictly on PCs.

As long as they don't introduce keyboard support. I don't want console mmos to become like pc mmos where there's "erotic role playing" and yiff going on, even though the game is not rated mature, in plain sight of other players...
