You know every big game has comic books. In my collection I own Zelda, Mario, MGS, Megaman, Sonic, Devil man Cry and Halo comic books. I am sure there are others I own but it's hard to keep up with.
Edit: I forgot I also own RE comic books. Plus there is Dead Space comic books.

I know about that, but I don't think they even need comic books, heck even Perfect Dark has comic books and it's barely a franchise. That's just me though.

I know about that, but I don't think they even need comic books, heck even Perfect Dark has comic books and it's barely a franchise. That's just me though. Has a fan of some of them I am happy they do. I have really been enjoying the Halo comic books and my son really likes the Sonic ones. Well, that's good to know, and to be honest, I do like the Perfect Dark comic books, LOL. I don't read those Sonic comic books anymore though.

But at the same time, there's nothing we can do about it because there will always be people buying the day one map packs, the comic books, and accessories (even the ones that say they aren't going to buy anything from activison).

What makes you think it will be free on PC? Content is no longer free on pc any more, or not as much. BF, Sims, Fallout, oblivion, etc, all have content to download for a price, varying of course, but sims most of all charges you item by item, and its not even cheap, its like $1 per item.

Not charging for that would on the other hand not be a good business idea. They didn't charge for the new maps for the first game. Times changed since the first game, I realize it hasn't been that long but dlc REALLY took off. They will likely charge.
