Modern Warfare 2 Love or Hate

everyone has a different opinions on this game i thought this game was just modern warfare 1 but with new multiplayer and a less memorable single player

I put in about 30 hours into the multiplayer. It was fun and I do love the customization that went into the game. The only thing I dont like about the game are the killstreaks. In COD4 they were bearable, but it gets very annoying when you only get killed by harriers rather than an actual enemy player. If they had taken out the killstreaks and some of the perks (Im lookin' at you Commando:evil: ) then I would probably still be playing it.

The online performance of that game makes it a WTFathon most of the time. Add to that with the highly exploitable map design, where you can hide completely behind something and still shoot, but can't be shot, the terrible graphics and color pallet that makes everything blend together unrealistically, and the god awful perks and unlocks in the game, and you've got one steaming pile.

Where's the "Like" option? I don't love the game, but I certainly don't hate it. I voted love it though considering that 90% of Gamespot users are biased against it.

The singleplayer storyline, which is basically a ripoff of a Michael Bay film, is more than enough to guarantee a big fat award of crap to this.

I personally liked it. I wouldn't say I love it but it was a good game.

great single player campaign, horrible multiplayer. mostly like it because of the single player and special ops

I dislike this argument in favor of the game. The community being able to break the game makes the game flawed.

Xbox 360 version: While it does have plenty of flaws i.e hitboxes being glitchy and weapon imbalance. I did manage to extract a bit of fun out of this version.

PC version: I'd rather gargle my own bodily fluids than to play this version.

it was good for the first 3 months, then it just got stupid

Enjoyed it. Didn't love it, didn't hate it.

Much better games out there though, and I much preferred BC2 over it.

I am neutral about it. It has a huge amount of flaws, but can be fun.

It was alright. Don't really like the first-shot-wins gameplay, but the campaign was fun & unlocking & customizing weapons was alright for a week or so.

I think it's alright.

My problem with MW2 is that I feel they planned its marketing more than its multiplayer game. I'm sorry, but this is not personal opinion. MW2s mp game is BROKEN. No two ways about it. Other than that, I like the way the game controls.

I made 10th prestigeand haveabout 32 days of playtime. I'm officaly done with call of duty. I was playing S&D and someone quick scoped me with an intervention through a wall on the other side of the map. I finaly came to my senses and relized how little skill the game actualy takes. I'm officaly done I quit. I'm trading it in at gamestop today.

Neither, It's not a horrible game, but not really a great one either. It has alooooooot of problems: the ease of play makes it feel shallow, unbalanced design(killstreaks), run n gun gameplay(not enough reason to use teamwork when you can pull out an AC-130), etc. I enjoy it somewhat but just because of the way it is it will never be better than BC2, TF2, BF2, CS, RO, etc. It's also a step back from COD4, less is more sometimes.

As for the SP, it was meh. Some of the individual parts were done really well, but as a whole campaign it sucked. Short, a pretty stupid story, and the enemies still have barely any AI. It's also extremely un-call of duty. COD was always big and cinematic, but it was never Michael Bay explosions every minute cinematic, it was more Saving Private Ryan cinematic. Instead of pacing out the thrills they decided to put an OMG moment in every level and really made things less exciting than they should have been.
