yea i saw it went from 2.0 to 3.3 last week. Activision must have hired thousands of spammers to spam 10/10 for customer reviews....vs the fan hates of 0/10

Well, when the money from the sells get in Activision bank accounts I'm sure they will feel better.

User reveiws on meta are always a joke. It's 90% fanboys of competing games giving it a 0 or a 1 just because, you know, the internet.

Why does Activision care about Metacritic user scores? I bet most people who bought COD never heard of Metacritic anyway.

On GS, i saw a few reviews which just consisted of "meh meh meh meh"

I'm not a fan of the MW series or COD in general, but I will say that the abuse of user score is quite ridiculous and the devs comment was justified.

I can't blame them. They made a fantastic game and the score obviously doesn't reflect the quality. They don't want potential new players to be turned off by desperate fanboys.

Dunno what's worse, devs complaining about professional reviews, or devs complaining about obvious troll reviews.

I don't see what the big deal is, he did not tamper with anything. He asked fans of the game to give a honest score as opposed to the haters.

Well i guess this is proof that even developers are starting to turn into rabid fanboys over their own games on the interweb and care too much about a number as if it some how makes the game better? Can't they just be happy that they have a loyal fanbase that are clearly going out to buy the game? guess not because that is just getting to the point where certain people cant take any kind of bad critisism even if it is from people who dont like the game

i read metacritic earlier today because i was bored.

People spammed 10 like 5 times in a row. :lol:

i felt black ops was boring, but it has a way better UI then MW3 does, and it feels treyarch was trying to change it up.

I dont like 3arc that much as a dev company but i will give them there dues

lol thats funny. It has bad user reviews from ps3 too. Luckily b ops was my last COD. I sold b ops, and still have MW2.

In Black Ops, it felt like you had a fighting chance. In MW3, you die way too fast, making it very frustrating and eventually boring to play. Im not exactly crazy for Treyarc, but i belive they do a much better job with COD compared to Infinity Ward.

Even though I agree with you a bitthere are portions of MW3 that bring the same oldfeeling if you look careful.

How big of a loser do you have to be to go on Metacritic and give it the worst score possible just becaue you hate the game?

There's a difference when the Devs want to boost the score, this is their work, they actually worked to make the game.

While all these nerds, mostly BF3 fanboys go out and spam MW3 Metacritic score.

With a game like Modern Warfare, user reviews are pointless. The idiots ruining the score haven't even played the game, and its not good to sink to their level by hiring spammers.

Its like the morons who put a 0 score on an Ubisoft PC game claiming "I haven't played the game, but I DO plan on pirating it thanks to teh terrible DRM. Screw you Ubisoftz!!!". Yeah, that really makes those scores seem real.

Honestly, if I was a game developer, I'd pay attention to the professional reviews, since 99% of games don't even get past the 80's thanks to some idiots who think a 0 is a perfect score for voicing whatever dumb complaints they have about an otherwise stellar game.

Maybe if he had done anything other than hit Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V when making the game it wouldn't have such bad user reviews. gamebreakerz__
