Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the sequel (or trequel, whatevs :] ) to the best selling game on the 360 and high scoring Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Modern Warfare 3 takes place immediatly after the events of Modern Warfare 2, with both Capt.Price and a bar of soap on the run after killing General.Shepard Pie. Russia is still tearing a new B-Hole in American shorelines and is starting to invade parts odf Europe. [How Rude, :x )

Infinity Ward has stated that Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer will play out more like Modern Warfare Multiplayer than Modern Warfare 2. No lame Killstreaks or Perks I hope. :]

IW has anounced a new Spec Ops mode that is similar to Xombies in WaW and BO called Survival Mode.

Unlike Zombies, Enemies in Survival mode will spawn at fixed locations instead of Random ones.

Comando, the n00bish perk in MW2, Has confirmed to be taken out. Thus, MP can only get better. :P

Unforunatly, Quickscoping has returned in MW2 (Teh horror)

MW3 Will not feature Dive to prone or "Dolphin Dive" or "LOLOL I'M FLOATIN"

Infinity Ward revealed thatModern Warfare 3will feature a new Survival Mode. Survival Mode features one to two players fighting endless waves of enemies with each wave getting more difficult. Despite being much compared to theWorld at WarNazi Zombies mode, enemies do not spawn at fixedlocationslike the zombies did, but instead at tactical positions based on the current location of the player. The mode will be available on all multiplayer maps in the game and in the mode, players can earn "cash" for items such as weapons, upgrades and ammo.

Infinity Ward has stated that they are going for a bug free game and 95% reviews

Oh, and no Dedicated Servers for consoles. :P

Survival Mode explained

Survival mode returns inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3as a gametype withinSpec Opsmode. In Survival mode, players must fend off waves of A.I controlled enemies on several different multiplayer maps. The waves are randomized, yet increasingly difficult, so that in the later stages of the game, players can expect to face multipleJuggernauts,Dogsstrapped withC4and enemy air support simultaneously.[1]There is no means ofwinningin this game mode, the waves will continue until the player has lost. Like other Spec Ops missions, co-op is available for this mode, both online or split-screen.

Survival mode also features a monetary system which allows players to buy items such as
Survival Mode Trailer For MW3air support, sentry guns, weapons, and even friendlyNPCsto assist the player throughout the match. Currency is earned by killing enemies and additionally by executing spree kills, headshots and other feats.[2]When a wave is over, both players must press A (Xbox 360 controller) to start the next wave[3], allowing them time to ready themselves between waves or buy support, weapons, perks, weapon attachments, equipment, etc.

To promote the game,Activisionwill be holding a two day event calledCall of Duty: Experiencewhich will take place inLos Angeles, CAfrom September 2nd, 2011 to 3rd. It will feature many things including the reveal of the new multiplayer which attendees will be able to play for the first time. In addition, all attendees will receive the Hardened Edition for free as a gift for attending. Details about what is included with the Hardened Edition have not yet been revealed.Infinity Ward revealed that to fix bugs and glitches, they will not use full updates but instead Treyarch's hot fix system to fix problems much quicker.

Character synopsis:

For only being 10 minutes it's good. Make sure you constantly update it though. :P

This thread is missing MW's key taglines: "GO GO GO", "Stay frosty", and "Oscar Mike".

It's not bad per say, I would just recommend planning it out and creating a nicer one. :P

If it sticks closer to MW's multiplayer, I might get this. :o

AAA average from the critics and an 8.8-ish average score coming from gamers. However everybody on System Wars will either hate it or act like they hate it.

MW3 does not deserve a 4 or 5 by any means. MW2 wasn't even paid off by Acitivision, that was BO that was, and MW2 still scored higher... :|

Activision will make sure the game gets reviewed the way it should (or shouldn't) be. At spa resorts, with 50 inch TVs, and only the 360 version of the game. A propably undeserved 9.0 by most, maybe the occasional 8.5 because it wll have 'some similarities with last year' .

And everyone will facepalm and lose trust to reviewers again.

Anyway, my official one-time-only prediction is 8.5. If the multiplayer is truly similar to COD4's and not MW2's it might get 9.0.

It does have more personality than some I've seen. Some are just... too clean and organized.

I expect maybe an 8 or 8.5. Its a good game, but doesn't look AAA material like the other MW games. Spec Ops looks amazing though, easily the most fun I've seen of the game so far, and they haven't even shown any normal Spec Ops missions either, just survival! Campaign looks alright, but a little bland, so I;m hoping its because they spent more time making the mp amazing and more balanced then in MW2.
