Modern Warfare 3 Includes Viewing Mode For Color-Blind Gamers

Color blindness is a common problem, especially among dudes. Sledgehammer Games tells us that roughly 9 to 12 percent of males are afflicted, a fact the studio has educated itself on since many of those males also like to get their Call of Duty on. In recognition of this, the Modern Warfare 3 co-developer has confirmed that the November-releasing entry in the series will include a Color Blind Assist option.

Sledgehammer revealed the news on its blog, though no details are offered on exactly how it will work in practical terms. Turning on the assist mode will likely result in a palette swap, switching to colors that are more easily distinguished by afflicted gamers.

How many other games have it? And TF2 is a colorful game that could be harder, for those who are color blind, to see it.

That's awesome. More developers need to add colorblind modes to games.

A lot of games have this. I know Battlefield 2 had a viewing mode for the color-blind.
