nooo if capcom said they were not putting out re5 for the ps3, and dmc4 for the ps3 like the *** version for the 360 was not going to be made. then that would be a snub. but sell wise over here in the states its not going to make that big a diffrence and if it come's out in 08. then mgs4 says hello.

Capcom tested the Xbox 360 with Dead Rising and it sold 1.41 million to date. They then released Lost Planet: Extreme Condition which went onto pass Dead Rising by 30,000 copies for a total of 1,440,000 sales. After the commercial success of both games they announce Devil May Cry 4 will be on both the Playstation 3 as well as the Xbox 360. To put this into perspective, Devil May Cry 3 sold 1.62 million on a console with 10x the userbase. Resident Evil 4 sold 1.66 million on the Gamecube (January 11th, 2005) and 1.91 million on the Playstation 2 (October 25th, 2005).

Even after being sold on the Gamecube and Playstation 2, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (June 19th, 2007) has gone onto sell 800,000 copies on the Wii to date. Far beyond the expectations of Capcom, which is why they are giving them more support.
