feel's kinda soon since far cry 3 game out last year but it looks they want to pump out more games. I fear watch dogs could follow suit. of course I would love to see the game being developed with next gen consoles in mind

Well fvck, Far Cry 3 met with a (deserved) modicum of success, and they're gonna run it into the ground beside Assassin's Creed.. darkspineslayer
Even if you're right, I think it's safe to say we'll get a few great FC games before the franchise's creativity is run into the ground... and honestly, I have no complaints. FC games are all standalone, there's no connection between them, and if they keep up with that model, play the ones that look interesting, stay away from the rest.
wtf is wrong with ubi? sequel after sequel. they may not have been the first company to exhaust a franchise but they perfected it
Not even a year passed since Far Cry 3 and a sequel is already teased... Milking at it's fullest. I avoid games like this.Â

FC3 did well, and they want to capitalize on the success... business 101.
Also, why discredit the game before even seeing any actual info? :?

Because it's starting to become as the CoD yearly model release. I bet Far Cry 4 will have same physics, nothing improved. Only new maps and a new story.[QUOTE="Rocker6"][QUOTE="lilnazar"]

Also, even if we really got FC3 in a different enviroment, I'd be mostly fine with that (wouldn't pay a full price though), as I really enjoyed it. Still, too early to jump to conclusions...

Not really. If you look at games that release yearly or 2 years after the original games, tend to be the same as their last game. Battlefield 4 for example. What's the difference between it and BF3? New guns, a little bit improved HUD display and new maps. That's it.Whats the problem. I could take another 2 years before the next game comes out (and maybe longer). Whats the problem with teasing something and gauging interest? Not even a year passed since Far Cry 3 and a sequel is already teased... Milking at it's fullest. I avoid games like this.Â

Ubisoft is really mailing it in right now. At least they are making a few new IPs like Watchdogs and The Division.

Uibsoft start hyping their big Holiday games at E3 18 months before.Â
Â
We are looking at X-mas 2015 at the earliest for this.
Just do a blood dragon sequel and forget about that crap with the annoying americans pissing off the locals.
A next-gen Far Cry would be AMAZING!

Far Cry 3 was next generation. So was 2 come to think of it. Regardless, stalker was better than both.
Ubisoft found a successful series...better churn out sequels in rapid succession until people hate it. Â

That is a piss poor example as Battlefield 4 looks to be quite an improvement over Battlefield 3 (on consoles at least). Commander Mode, 64 player online, full destruction is back this time with skyscrapers, enhanced Frostbite engine, on top of new weapons, maps, vehicles, etc.Â
