I just saw this on TV, it might not be the worst advert (PS3 baby ad, anyone?) but it sure did make me yawn:

Gears of War wasn't exactly the most exciting advert I've seen on TV. Let alone a game advertisement.

All PS3 ads I've seen so far. It would be nice to show something kinda game like in the ads and not really stupid random crap. Next ad will probably be something like a junkie shooting up then looks over and sees a PS3 in the middle of the road or something.

The "Wii would like to play" commercials aren't boring and if somebody saw those commercials you think hey they look like they are having fun I think I might buy that system.

The Crackdown commercial got on my nerves the first time I saw it, and that commercial might be offensive to Latin Americans I think even though I'm not Latin American I still think it might be offensive.

You're gotta be crazy to hate that add even if you don't like the song. It's a different spin on how all gaming ads are done and actually many non gamers I know watched it on youtube and ont TV and loved it. For me it just pushed the emphasis on that game and more reasons to get the 360 over PS3 at the time. Not a major reason ofcourse not but I did like that commercial alot as appose to every crappy PS3 commercial.

And btw my vote goes to many of the white room PS3 on the floor commercials that even Sony must hate lol
But most boring and worst to me would be the PSP ad someone posted in SW playing on the theme of Race with a white girl and black girl and it looked like a freaking fashion ad. Easily worst ad ever in gaming history IMO or in the top five

Those later GBA commercials where it was just some dude playing a game (you never see it) and a bunch of things related to it float around him, and it says 'who are you'..and thats it The recent DS ones are a yawn fest PS3 commercials....WTF??? Crackdown commercials very anoying Nintendo of Canada used to make some good commercials, they were usualy funny.

That commercial really just summed the holiday season for gaming for me. Was a really really good ad IMO.
And gave the game more dimension and appeal to more people then just a shooter.

Either of those things actually discouraged me from buying a PS3. 

Anyway, back on topic. Most boring advertisement? As in on TV or internet? Probably one of those web ads for Supreme Commander or other RTS's. You know, where they show a few select clips of gameplay, no narration, and some generic Brass war-timey music.

Was pretty boring but at least it actually depicted someone playing the game in a realistic fashion instead of all flash no substance. Honestly I thought someone was going to happen like the cat was going to jump on her because she kept talking to the DS and ruin the game or something. And that game... why did it give me bad Gyromite flashbacks?

All the sony ones make me yawn. At least the 360 ones either have cool designes or are just plain wierd, and the Wii ones show good games on theirs.

The old UK PS2 adverts where fish were thrown into the sea then blood submerged.  I didn't understand the point they were trying to get through.
