I hate the dual-shock. Its too small plus I can't even play without my thumbs touching each others.
Why didn't they redesign it.
Btw, maybe the gamecube controler(ugly but good in your hands) and xbox360 controler which is the best imo.
360 has the best controller feel. Second place would be the good ol' ps1 controler (only problem was the analogue sticks)
worst controller ever was the original xbox duke controller (so glad they broought controller S)
I like the 360 controller because its curved the right way for your fingers. And everything is spaced (buttons, thumbsticks, triggers, etc) really well.
The wii remote is great, but sometimes I wish the nunchuck was wireless so I would stop getting tangled up in the wire... It's still pretty comfortable though.
PS3 controller is nice and has a good D-pad, but the thumbsticks are so close together and the triggers are so big, it just doesn't feel right in my hand.
I haven't tried the Wii controls yet so I'm gonna say the 360's controller. And the KB/mouse combo is the least comfortable control scheme imo.
SEGA GENESiS!!!YEEEEESSSSSSS!!! your my new best friend XD
thats right, to this day i still say the 6 button genesis controller is the best ever!walkerctranger
Gamecubes controller. It just melts into my hand without me having to adjust my hands. All my finger can touch a button without to much stress, unlike the PS2 and Xbox controller. I have yet to put my hands ont a Wii controller so I can say anything about it. 360 controller is okay, but a few adjustment here and there would help. and PS3, since it's nothing but a PS2/PS1 controller but lighter and motion, it feels as bad as PS2's controller....tocool340
The Gamecube controller was by far the best designed of last gen. The button layout was next to perfect as well. So user friendly.

Most comfortable, and best controller ever made... the wireless 360 pad, no question. Sixaxis/DualShock 2 are a close second.remaGloohcSdlO
NO WAY, the most comfortable is from the 360, but WIRED is the way to go... I went from wireless to wired, and w/o the battery pack is like OMFG this is the most comfortable.. perfect weight of all time!!!
The Saturn controller.Panzer_Zwei
Damn, someone beat me to it.
The second version of the Sega Saturn controller is hands-down the most comfortable controller created. In fact, I don't even consider this debatable or just an opinion- it's a damn fact. I know it wouldn't be suitable for modern gaming, but it's design based off what it was intended to do has not been matched.
As far as more modern controllers (something that COULD play modern games), the 360's controller is probably the best, despite a lousy d-pad. I don't know how people are saying the Wii remote- that d-pad is far too rigid to be effectively used for button presses. Other than that, yeah I'll I agree it holds pretty well...but without that d-pad, there aren't enough buttons.
A good mouse and keyboard is very comfy (my special ed. G7 owns IMO) but..
The 360 gamepad is the most comfy gamepad......
The Wiimote feels quite akward, and the dualshock is very nice and snug, but its knowhere as erganomic as the 360s controller.
IMO - gamepads:
360 controller
Dreamcast controller
Dualshock
GameCube controller
Wiimote
