Whats the most expensive game ever developed and sold? I remember Nintendo selling Mario Kart64 and a few other N64 titles for $100 when they first released. 

As far as most expensive developed games I have no ideal.

FFVII was the first multi-million dollar game developed. it started the crazy multi-million dollar budget games get now.

the VBS sims were like $500 each....then again they werent exacly games, but military sims made for proffesional training.  But they did release a game based off of it, Operation Flashpoint.

Neo Geo games were routinely $200+
Steel Battallion was $200
Arcade machines can range into the $1000+ price range for certain games
