A few come to my mind including that of the marines in Warhammer 40k. And another is War's armorfrom Darksiders, though I don't quite know whether the size should primarily be attributed to his armor or to his own body proportions.

You'll understand why the armor is big when you play Gears of War games. I mean how can a guy take THAT MANY BULLETS, and live.
But you get shot in the head plenty of times too. and so much armour and then a bandanna on the head, lol, it's disproportionate. You'll understand why the armor is big when you play Gears of War games. I mean how can a guy take THAT MANY BULLETS, and live.

When a someone asks a question like that the best answer is always Maaaagiiiiiic.
Starcraft deserves to be nominated. Especially for the Terran Firebats. The armor in Gears of War looks downright tame compared to this....
Big armor is fine when it looks cool lol. Of course, that game was sloppyAww Shadow beat me to it. :P
But I will also add:

it would be awesome if he ate his dinner and ent to bed in that:DLet's not even get started on how he goes to the bathroom....[QUOTE="shadow_hosi"]thats not oversized THIS is oversizedZaibach
[QUOTE="shadow_hosi"]thats not oversized THIS is oversizedFumpaIt would be funny if someone showed what the guys body looked like under the armor. It looks as though his whole body, including arms, would best fit within the torso portion. It seems like it would be a stretch for him to have his arms within the arms of the armor. He could be a cyborg with only the head and possibly the torso being the only organic parts.

Actually I think thats a cyborg. The 40k lore had dying characters implanted into robotic armor, just like Kane from Robocop 2. I don't think there is any body under that.is oversizedFumpa
LOL those are great...The enormousness of the armor is due to the toilet, microwave, and full sized industrial AC unit that comes standard me thinks...

Maybe I should read some of those Warhammer books.is oversizedgamer620
yeah, i woulden't exactly call it oversized if theres no chance in hell a normaly proportioned man would fit in it. that armour is strictly for the female formA few come to mind:
Metroid

not armor, but chris redfield, holy ****...SilverChimera
Lmao yea I don't know what the hell Capcom is thinking when making their male character models.

Space marines look just like a normal human only much much larger. If you want to see them without their armor you can just look at the space marine scout (they serve in scout squads before getting their armor) and see what they look like.
If I remember correctly I think thats the Ultramarines Primarch which were much larger than a normal space marine and those are powerfists he has. You can find other pictures where terminators have 1 powerfist on and 1 normal glove on and you can see the huge size difference in their hands.
Also he isnt a cyborg, though they have implants if I remember correctly. I think your thinking of the dreadnought which has a dying space marine entombed inside forever fighting for the Emperor.
Warhammer 40k. Seriously, EVERYTHING they do is in that hilarious armor. No matter what they, you just can't take them seriously because you're laughing your ass off at how ridiculous they look.

You realize you just posted a picture of the equivelent of 2 gods right? i doubt they care if your laughing at them while they kill you with tehre pinky fingers.
Space marine armour HAS to be big, becasue space marines are big, not to mention all teh crap they put up with.

Nope thats body under calgars armour, people dont seem to realise that space marines arnt humans in giant armour like everything else.
Space marines are horrible freaks of nature by our standards.
Power armour may be oversized, but at least compared to stuff like gears of war power armour actually offers you protection for the size, a space marine could shrug off a tank blast, i doubt emo fenix could.
