which one was sander again? (lol)
was it the plastic surgeon?
Nope, that was doctor Steinman. Sander Cohen was the insane musician in Fort Frolic.
oh yeah now i remember, bioshock was wasted as an FPS, its should have been an RPG/FPS, not an FPS/lets-pretend-we-have-RPG-elements

BioShock is one of the best games ever made. Anyone who was expecting heavy RPG elements was an idiot. They said 1,000 times before release that it was primarily a shooter.

so? ever played system shock? it was created by some of the same devs, its spiritual sucessor, except the RPG elements were toned down, so no anyone expecting heavy RPG elements wasnt an idiot, it was just expecting the devs to their job right, system shock 2 is a game that it is still memorable even 10 years after it was made, in 5 years nobody will remember bioshock
They messed up the RPG elements and the shooting wasn't fun.BioShock is one of the best games ever made. Anyone who was expecting heavy RPG elements was an idiot. They said 1,000 times before release that it was primarily a shooter.
NAPK1NS
How is it one of the best games every made?
It had great graphics, story, and atmosphere but that doesn't make up for the gameplay.

Yeah,I felt like Bioshock was more of an interactive detective novel for me,rather than a shooter. When I thought of it like that,I loved every minute of it.

If you were expecting heavy RPG elements, then you simply were not listening to what the developers were saying.
They said from day one that Bioshock would be a first person shooter. I believed them, and, as such, I was not dissapointed when there were little to no RPG elements.
You expecting RPG elements and not getting them is not the developer's fault, but yours.
Linebeck: best supporting character in a zelda game...EVAR.
Dante: Can't forget him after the cutscenes in DMC3/DMC4
Mario, Solid Snake, and more recently, Altair.MoldOnHold
No offense but Altair is probably one of the worst voice-acted characters ever in a game, atleast for this gen. What was remotely interesting about him?
Squall/Rinoa (FFVIII)
Geralt (The Witcher)
Saturos (Golden Sun)
Hector/Ike (Fire Emblem 7/9 & 10)
Cloud/Sephiroth/Aeris (FFVII)
Kratos (ToS)
Kane (Command and Conquer franchise)
Many more...
Uh, Mario anyone?
And just about any character from Killer 7 and No More Heroes. It's hard to forget about a man with 7 (or 9, I lost count) different personalities or a model/assassin with a rocket launcher for a leg.
Zoe Castillo - Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

Altair - Assassin's Creed
Jackie Esticado - The Darkness
Nariko and Kai - Heavenly Sword
Nathan Drake And Elena Fisher - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

And I'll end it with just about any character from Warcraft III. Sure I'm missing some that I'd like to have in here, but no more are coming to mind.
Uh, Mario anyone?glitchgeeman
yes please
mario is so memorable, and he never even has any real great lines that make you remember him.
Skull Kid from LoZ Majora's Mask (and to a lesser extent -OoT)
Sergeant Moody and Captain Price from CoD's (Infinity Ward) and just about every Russian who shouted 'for the Motherland!'
Sander Cohen from Bioshock
Sergeant Johnson from the Halo series
Just about every Turian in Mass Effect
The Pyro from Team Fortress 2
Mario....obviously
Gordon Freeman and G-man from Half-Life series
Psycho and Prophet from Crysis
Parker and Sawyer from World in Conflict
Big Smoke from GTA San Andreas
Dingo, Jehuty and Anubis from Zone of the Enders 2
Well, here's a long list- Snake, Liquid, Ocelot, Gray Fox, Big Boss, Roy Campbell, Otacon, Emma Emmerich, Solidus Snake, Volgin, The Fear, the Fury, Meryl from the Metal Gear (solid) series.
The Great Mighty Poo from Conker
Fox and Wolf from StarFox
Squall from FFVIII
Auron (win), Yuna and Wakka from FFX
GLaDOS and the cake from Portal
Micheal Dugan (Ray Wise) from Red Alert 2
There are a lot of other LoZ characters, but I consider Majora's Mask to be the most memorable game for me personally, and I took the most important character from it.
Those are all the characters I can remember currently, although obviously, if I haven't remembered them, then they aren't memorable characters.
