That's weird. I knew games had graphics, but I didn't know consoles did too! :o

In fact, ever since Gears, they have not been able to produce a better looking game. 360 is limited in its hardware.

I agree Gears 2 only looks slightly better since the color pallete has expanded and they touched up a few things. Remember what Epic said about Gears? "We are and will be the best looking game on 360." And so far that remains true.

Killzone looks like grey and boring, Uncharted has horrible texures and the fakest explosions, and MGS4 is the only good one.

The difference in capability between the 360 and PS3 is so small it is completely negligible in a debate. Most multiplatform games for both consoles look exactly the same and perform the exact same. Neither is noticeably "more powerful" than the other.foxhound_fox

no. most powerful console is ps3, if only by a small margin.

however, the 360 is easier to work with, so chances are only ps3 exclusives will look awesome.

consoles can't be upgraded graphics but pc can. more meory in everything.

i would hav to say xbox 360 is also powerfull.

As it stands in my mind, the graphical difference between the PS3 and Xbox360 are so minscule its tough to even call a winner.. Though MGS4 does look great, its not much better to say it is with out a doubt the best looking game of the either two consoles imo.

And it seems like PS3 fan boys are only going off pre release as being amazing.. When we have seen time and time again where games look fantastic on their pre-release and then they look not so hot on release.

You can not directly compare the two..... All engines now a days look great and they each have their share of strengths and weaknesses.

Since when? I'm currently playing ME and I completely disagree. The environment are bland and the space-stations all look the same. It's a great game but it should not be mentioned in the same sentence as MGS4 or Uncharted. Plus it runs like crap when compared to MGS4 and Uncharted. The only game the 360 has that competes graphically is Kameo IMO.

KAMEO was the only launch game that actually maxed/nearly maxed out the 360s graphics potential. Gears is the best it'll get on the 360 ... soon to be Gears 2 though which doesn't look that much better but has more color, physics, and destructable environments.

And yeah ME doesn't come close to MGS4. MGS4 has better character models, better environments, better effects, and better everything when it comes to graphics.

Yeah.. I don't agree. TF2 IS something special, COD 4, although amazing, is leagues behind TF2.

I haven't looked into that game. My PS3 is still hard down so I've been a bit of a lemming lately but not in a fanboyish way.
