Most rediculous claims in the console war (on all sides) thread

In the war between consoles, we have all seen the fanboy arguments, and those that are actually affective and backed with hard evidence. But I know many of us have come by comments/arguments/statements etc. that have been so redic, they are actually entertaining. Just for kicks I thought Id make a thread where we could post the most untrue and funny arguments y'all have seen (for or against any console) made by people who werent actually joking.

I'll give my input: "Whats stopping the ps3 controller from exploding" Someone argued that the sixaxis controlers could possibly explode, because they used similar batteries to those recalled from laptops. It ends with "My condolences to the first gamer who loses their hand." I'm sure many people saw this one...I personally find it really funny.

all of those lame arguments are mostly from people that just got into the systems. Even then most long time system lovers wont trash on the rival system(s), unless it is justified.

I think some of those people who make those ridiculous arguments are also brain damaged as well.

Are you sure they weren't talking about Gears? Because there was a thread a while ago saying some stupid crap about how 3rd person shooters don't really exist because its a small genre and you can zoom in with a sniper rifle.

My Favorite though is when someone made a thread about how Fable 2 looks "better" than Crysis, then posted all these lame, horrible, blurry screens. They were completely serious, and when the thread was basically 4-5 pages of "You're completely wrong, what are you smoking?" he started on some crap about how it looks better because of the "art style." It was just kind of sad.

Yeah some great ones there, to be honest though the 360 is actually more expensive than PS3 one does actually make sense if you add in a HD-DVD drive, X-Box Live and Wifi adaptor, all things on the PS3.

Actually...my grandparents just bought a Playstation 3 for a cheap Blu-Ray player. I thought that was kind of funny. Still love my PS3 though, mainly for the BC interestingly enough. Can't wait for MGS4!
