You can't /thread and then post three more times, it doesn't make sense.

Mario easily, followed by Pokemon, and the Sims. And then, there's a huge gap between these three, and the rest of the industry.

Halo hasn't broken thirty million yet, so it's nowhere near the most successful franchise ever arena.

GTA is up ther(nowhere close to Mario and his ilk, but still ridiculous saleswise), as is Final Fantasy, and Gran Turismo and Zelda.

Metal Gear need not apply in this contest.
