Most Underrated Game At GS This Gen (score wise)

dues ex.....it gets AAA everywhere......but here it gets a 8.3.

same with system shock 1/2.

and with Fallout.

haha i actually loved that game. granted, i only rented it from gamefly for about 2 months. but me and my neighbor played that game so much. it rocked. i would never buy it though.

I respect gamespot for being tough, what I don't like is the inconsistencies.

For example, Zelda, SPM and Metroid Prime 3 essentially got the same scores even though Metroid fixed (for the most part) what little gripes they had about Zelda and SPM.

Bioshock I agree should've been 9.5 probably.

I don't know about everyone else here, but I loved Condemned. All they need to do is change a few things, especially the CSI'ish scenes, and it would have been gold. Great story too.

Jeff held the reviewer at gunpoint to score it less than 9.0 :P

Hell yeah, I forgot about that game. That was one of the scariest games I'd ever played. Condemned 2 looks like it could be sweet from the early glimpses we've gotten from it.

Bioshock's score was dead on, although you people need to READ THE REVIEW instead of just looking at a number. When you read the review it puts the 9 in context. In fact, I'm glad GS is cracking down on their review scale, as they are trying to get away from the 7-9 scale dilemma.

Most underated game though? I would say that I once again agree with Cobrax:

Fallout, System Shock, and Deus Ex are three of the best games ever made. It is strange they only scored in the 8's compared to other games that are far far inferior that scored in the 9's. Those games right there are proof that review scores are just arbitrary at best.

I picked up MP3 today and have not played it yet so I can't yet comment on it. However, out of the games I've played, Zelda:TP is by far the most underrated game this gen.

The most overrated game this gen has to be Perfect Dark Zero unless anyone really believes that PDZ is a better game than Bioshock.

Sonic the hedgehog is absolute crap if that wasn't sarcasm and i wish i never played it or bought it or even noticed it. As for the most underated game on gamespot i have to say zelda TP it was such a good game i think it shoulda been like 9.3 and up. Jeff just dosent want sheep to be happy and probably wants us to leave forever and ever......Oh and Bioshock definately deserved 9.5.

xbox 360 - condemned (This game was f***ing amazing!)

ps3 - resistance (I really don't see what gripes you can have with this game, it is so well made and the online is great!)

wii - metriod prime 3 (I can live with Zelda tp at 8.8 but this game deserves atleast a 9 it oozes with greatness!)

Probably because I compare it directly to PDZ and it just confuses me as to how that piece of garbage could score AAA, but Resistance didn't. Seriously.
