Most Underrated games of all time? post pics (56k)

Everyone's heard of Mario, Zelda, Sonic, GTA, MGS, Halo, FF, etc etc etc... But what about the games that no one ever mentions on some "best games ever" list? What are some games that in your opinion are absolute classics in your gaming life but never gets the recognition it deserves from the gaming public?

There are all I can think of right now.

They had some problems but were still very fun games.

the whole onimusha series is a long time favourite of mine. beautiful game. the days of the old capcom.

Secret of Evermore was a good game! It just wasn't "fantasy" enough for the rpg folks... underrated. Good call.

Hell yeah they're smexy, fantastic games, but all ignored to the fullest extent :evil:

:shock: Atleast start looking into Snes games, some absolutley fantastic games for it. Hell, the Shin Megami Tensei series was on the Snes :)

Abyss is probably one of the most popular PS2 RPGs.

Those are usually mentioned in straight up great RPG threads the most, but bring up a PS2 RPG thread and /or Tales of series thread and youll see Abyss pop up alot ;)

If you like action RPGs do yourself a favor and either search your house for it or go to amazon and purchase a copy of it. Its a really good game. While your at it buy Dark Cloud 2 and Rogue Galaxy, all in the same gameplay vein and made by the same Dev

How did the original Crash Bandicoot get such a low score? It's one of the greatest games of all time.

After hearing all of the hype, and then all of the disapointment I had to give Lair a rent; and I enjoyed it. I was surprised.

One of the best Sonic games of all time. The nightime stages are just ok, but the spectacular daytime stages make up for that.

I'll be honest, I didn't like MLB 2k8 at all. But MLB 2k9 is much better, they fixed some of the problems such as pitching. I still prefer MLB 09 the Show, but MLB 2k9 is nothing but an improvement after 2k8.

:P Id like to jump on PS2 RPGs and finish DC2 myself but my lasers about to kick the bucket..... Scared to give it that push over the edge as of yet,
