Most unexpected parts in a video game...

'Kay, there's a lot more, but I will just go with something I recently played:

In Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, I thought Eddy Raja was just a superstitious idiot, like the stereotypical British-speaking villian said. But then out of nowhere, these mutated Spanish people come out of nowhere in a cave, and start wanting to kill me, like all the minorities in the game. I instantly thought of "The Descent," but with guys and a hot chick. It just felt very weird and out of place. I didn't dislike it or anything... I just didn't expect it. I thought it was going to be more of like the Da Vinci Code, where everything is logical with no superstitious stuff. But that bit kind of surprised me. But they were really easy because they didn't have any guns.

What say you?

The part of DMC4 where Dante gets Lucifer and the part before he fights Agnus. I've never heard Dante describe using a sword so... suggestively... and I never expected Shakespeare of all things in a DMC game :lol:

Hmm... Call of Duty 4 [spoiler] when the nuke goes off, I swear that campaign is the FPS campaign to be topped [/spoiler] That comes to my head immediately MGS4 has so many it's hard to list them all. I'll let the others in SW do that for you. Toriko42

Also, getting X number of kills with X gun was pretty easy. I got, like, a lot of headshots, too. That was satisfying.

The X Labs in STALKER SoC. I knew the game was supposed to be creepy, and the Bloodsuckers convinced me of that but... those X Labs were just a terrible experience. Probably the closest I've come to messing myself while playing a game. I wasn't expecting them in the least and they caught me completely off guard.foxhound_fox

Mine has to be the plot-twist in KOTOR. I stared at my TV screen, slack-jawed, for a good 5 minutes before I did anything.
