Motorstorm got a 7.9 because standards are much higher for games on Blu-ray

Gears of War has an endless array of online modes to play in versus. Sure, it's about a 10 hour game, but the game itself is that much fun. Playing through on Insane is something that needs to be experienced by everyone...not to mention you can *gasp* play coop on the same console (or through Xbox Live or System link). Gears of War is above and beyond Motorstorm in terms of replay value.

Goodness.  When will people learn that a flop isn't the end of the world?  TP was one of the most unexpected flops that I've ever seen (I really wanted to see a 9.9 or a 10 out of it), but the 8.8 didn't stop me from enjoying the game enough to call it the best 3D Zelda to date (which is also equivalent to "Best Game of All Time" to me).  GS isn't that great of a reviewing site in the first place, and secondly, who gives a hoot anyways?

Motorstorm is a much more demanding game, and it came to its right by using Blu-ray. Putting this game on the 360 would require a miracle, it's true.

It got 7.9 because it has no splitscreen. End of story.Timstuff

It would have definately gotten a 10 on the Wii cause of its graphics alone, 360 can't do motion controls, and lets face it, PC can't handle racing games. :lol::lol:
