Doesnt look too dissimilar to M&B1, which is great. Graphics are slightly better and the bigger battles will be good. I remember having to mod the original game to have battles with 2000 soldiers, I hope Bannerlord has that many and if it does I hope the battle areas are bigger. Love to see a corpse littered battlefield after a hard fought battle.

Sounds great. I hope similar mod comes out for Mount and Blade 2 as well.
Little let down, its just Mount & Blade with new graphics. I see nothing different at all, which sucks cause this game still has such a high ceiling. The presentation was poor, id rate it a D. Crime was the only new thing they showed and they didnt even show a Siege. Nothing in the towns look changed, would have been cool to have some more activities other then crime.
The most key things i was looking for in a part 2 was some more end game. New trading stuff added, building and upgrading castles, etc. Stuff that would help make the fun last longer. Ill still be wanting to get the game though to try it.

Yeah, you're right. It does look a lot like Warband, just with better graphics. I guess they didn't want to take much risk in changing stuff, and then have people bitching about the changes :P. But I agree with you, they should add more stuff, specifically the bolded portion. Hopefully this isn't all that's in store for us, Maybe they'll have more to show later. (I don't know the release date.)
This is going to be just as addicting as Warband. I can already tell.
I'm excited about the teeth customization option. :D Good to see their new engine can still support large battles! And another +1 for being able to customize every aspect of your weapon. That looks exactly like warband with better graphics, which is completely fine, as long as they balance out the world, and improve AI. I'm not able to wait any longer. It looks really good and really close to complete. Cannot wait to see what mods people make. I remember playing this some 2007 or 2008. It was the first game that gave me exactly what I wanted. That moment when you realize how awesome this development team are. The moment where, with limited budget and staff, they released the original game based on their own passionate vision. It was far from perfect, yet the truly unique experience it offered was the best that they could do with what they had. It's incredible to see a game that was barely known for a year or two, to becoming so popular now.
doesn't look really different from previous games but still much cooler than I thought , so hyped for this
I've never played a Mount and Blade, might have to jump in with this one.
Yeah bro, you should give Warband a shot when it's on sale. :) It definitely doesn't hold your hand though, and may feel a little lost at first. But the battles get fun after a while, especially once you build up your army.

has it aged well? My PC is getting long in the tooth. Have a 7950 and 8gb ram
It looks about where I was expecting it to be. I'm not impressed nor am I disappointed. I just kind of feel satisfied without feeling too excited.
All the matters is good modding support and some improvements to the core parts of the game that you can't fix with mods, such as the AI and siege mechanics.
Companions on horses was a right pain in the arse, they liked to ride straight into a line of enemies and stop then usually get knocked from the horse and there was nothing you could do about it, if they fixed that then happy times.
And the random map generator needed to be a bit more realistic with the terrain heights, I think they may have fixed both of those.
I'm hoping they have added some form of destruction to the sieges so you can breach where you want rather then going single file up a ladder.

I am very happy to see formations, more precise unit control, and simply "smarter" AI during combat. Should make the battles a lot more fun.
