well with the new 360 system update coming on the fourth, a new feature will be added... the timer, which allows parents (or really anybody) to set limits on time allows playing on the console.. making it simply shut down after time expires. this sort of thing you would expect on the wii right? but this could get annoying if you parents get sneaky and set it without you knowing... and we gotta mention that just about anyone can set it, which means your angry little brother can, your sneaky little sister can, your parents can, and a rival friend can... and if any of those people forget the password... this could become a real pain.:|
I have never played a video game so fun that i could play it over an hou and a half. This timer is a good hting. The parents wont have to deal with obiese kids. Bad thing is there will be less obiese kids to make fun of.

It already has parental controls.. they don't exactly do much to the popularity. I think that most people probably don't know that the features even exist.

I'd say it's good publicity in the casual parent's eyes, even if this feature probably won't be used in any reality we know of.

Microsoft limiting time? Oh, and all this time I've been under the impression that M$ is still hardcore oriented. And the Wii has a timer already, and now's the time for me to get on my hands and knees and say "Don't do it Sony!!!! I've don't own a ps3 yet, but I don't want to run the risk of my parents limiting my time!!! Besides, I only play about five hours a day!" Seriously, though, this is no big deal, because I don't have online for 360, so there's no possible way to download the update;)
