Scalebound and Recore have me interested on pedigree alone. If those games deliver, I'll buy an Xbone. All the other stuff? Meh.

How about we actually see some gameplay from those top MS announced games and then we'll talk. The games most people are excited for in that line-up haven't shown a second of gameplay.

Most of those games aren't 1st party and very little info has been released for any of these games. Hopefully it ends up being a good lineup, either way though. I have high hopes for Scalebound and it is the #1 reason I own an X1.

PS so you spent 16.1 hours PER DAY, for 7 DAYS STRAIGHT last week playing 1 game lol, if you're going to lie at least make it believable.

Microsoft has potentially interesting projects because I like Platinum Games, I like Remedy (on some level), and I want to believe Inafune and Mark Pacini (metroid prime director) know their shit.

Problem?
-Platinum Games isn't Microsoft first party and Kamiya doesn't do sequels. So there is no real guarantee Platinum will make another MS game unless Scalebound sells BUCKETS, which come on. Plus we've yet to see gameplay

-Remedy's last game: Alan Wake I don't think is that good. It's okay, it has some neat story beats because Sam Lake is cool. But writing wise he had some off moments with that game, and the gameplay was barely above average. The newest game looks super easy and makes the player come off over powered and broken. In a genre that's not all that interesting, I still don't really get what they are going for from a gameplay perspective with QB, because I'd like it to be good.

-Recore: We've seen no gameplay. Inafune was a producer not a creator, and they have yet to produce a good game there yet (might change this September). Armachair studios while potentially rushed with Batman Blackgate, still technically made one game, and said one game was a bad game. An atrocious game.

-Crackdown 3 - no gameplay, we barely know anything about the studio, and unless it builds on the greater potential of Crackdown it could end up a dime a dozen open world game. I want a Sandbox game, give me that.

I would argue that same logic would apply here. Not saying they will be bad games, and not even saying I won't buy them (I won't buy fable, **** that, or God of War most likely), but those franchises are a bit stale and long in the tooth, and if the studios don't make major shifts to the gameplay, I'm not expecting anything special from that bunch.

Microsoft's funding interesting project, I'm happy about that, but they haven't built a first party until those games come out and deliver.

Yup I did, had a week off and my brother just finished it so I decided to play it, had two sleepless nights due to how addicted I got.

Ha, damn. I think the worst game binge of my life was when I bought Chrono Trigger, FFVI and Mario RPG all at the same time. Still wasn't pushing 16 hours a day consistently though. More like 8 - 12 hours a day tops.

I had a similar binge when I got Persona 4 Golden for xmas, granted it came out at 60 hours but that was from xmas to New Years.

I've played Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 and all three were great so I know that 4 will be too.

Crackdown 2 was the worst sequel I played on 360 so I have no hope for 3 and Rare can't develop for shit, keep trying.

It's been a long time for me man. Part of it is just getting older, the urge to sit there and compulsively game all day is gone. Then of course there are the responsibilities. I'd say 4 or 5 hours in a day is my absolute max these days.

Though that may change for MGSV. I'm so hyped for that game that I'm clearing my schedule and I fully intend to stay on it all day every day for the first week.

Sadly I've had less time for gaming due to work, needing a lung operation, the birth of my niece and getting ready for Uni. So what better way to use my week off than a gaming binge of one of my fav genres and since BD was a 3DS game it worked perfectly :P

Friends were all busy so had next to nothing to do but game anyway :D

We really need to bring that 500 posts rule back, maybe then we can stop some of these brain dead drivel from Shibua.

Sorry but since none of these games have yet to release, there's no guarantee if they are a hit or a miss so I really can't vote on this thread at all. But however, I will say that I'm really looking forward to those first party MS exclusive games but Quantum Break is the most Xbox One game I want the most.

If you were so into playing Xenoblade, then you wouldn't be on here in a thread by a well known MS fanboy talking down all of MS's up coming games, and defending Sony now would you?
