Not handled well. At least make it so if you are in the same game, or even even same room, you can be in private chat together. This just kinda ruins the point of private chat..

Jesus Christ, another misleading topic on this same damned subject? One, MS isn't forcing anyone to do anything regarding this. This is ALL IW. Secondly, it's only during select game modes in MW2. Enough with the slander, people.

Misleading title is very misleading.

This has nothing to do with MS. It's IW's decision regarding MW2.

As said above, Microsoft isn't the one devising this obviously, it's been put into place by IW themselves most likely.

a perfect implemention of this would be Gears 2 multiplayer, I know people exploit ghost cam a lot, and can potentially turn the tide of matches with the party chat, but that's just my opinion.

I honestly don't see a real problem with it.

Not everyone abuses the party chat like that.

Not too thrilled about it. I have to say this is like how we are forced to endure DRM cause of people tend to do things that shouldn't be doing.

So IW runs the servers and can do what they want to with them. But it sure is nice having party chat for 99% of other things rather than none at all!:)

Correction. MS is giving developers the option (key word there) to remove party chat from upcoming games. MS is not directly removing party chat from any game.

I think what they should do is only implement that if you're playing a "ranked" game. COD may not have ranked vs unranked games though, I'm not sure about that. But does anyone else agree with me there?
