MS has new box art for it's physical games

Look to have copied Sony with the white finish.

The one for Forza Horizon 5 is so boring. No cars lol.

You copy someone else people are gonna call you out. It looks better but its a copy.

Not sure they "copied" Sony to be honest. Sony's white bar goes from one side to the other.

I assume they chose a white background not because Sony had a white stripe, but because it is easier to read black lettering on a white background.

@gym_lion: Wait... Series S doesn't have a disc drive. Why would the physical box art list it? Eh... it is Twitter... one of the dumbest group of humans. Makes sense now.

On topic... I don't like the design. It looks unfinished. Of course, it doesn't matter to me as I don't have an Xbox.

I think it looks nice and actually it copied the Switch box art. Well not really old boxart used to not feature those blank header but the Switch box definitely brings these back in style. I always hate the blank header on game box its a huge waste of space. The PS5 header specially its ugly especially now that Sony no longer use the "only on playstation" mark on its game.

I don't mind the look to be honest I'm fully digital anyway.

It is more impressive that they are showing the actual game in the boxart.

Saw this earlier. The white box in the top corner is perhaps a touch too big but otherwise it looks fine.

What if the box just has a code inside?😮

@Pedro: What's the point of buying the disc/box if you never use them? Just buy direct from your console. The main advantage of a digital only console would be that your games take up zero physical space.

A lot of physical nintendo switch game actually do this, even got a section in bestbuy digital store. Those buyers probably got suckered thinking all switch box gonna increase in prices 🤣🤣

Looks good but I went total digital gaming at the start of PS4/Xbox One so I stop caring for physical but glad it's never going away for those who likes to collect stuff and more importantly, still great for those who don't rely on Wi-Fi access.

Gifts. Think about it from both a point of sale/advertising view and from a physical giving/opening view.

It's funny, but, I kinda dig the design, especially of Forza. Just looks super clean.

So they copied Sony and somehow made the design slightly worse/more boring? Not the worst boxart design ever though, but Sony and MS could do a LOT better then this.

I posted the 360 box art as a joke because people were saying "MS stole" the new one (I didn't realize that a small white box was stealing lol)
