MS hates me (RRoD)

what a S***ty day for me. I called MS earlier today to deal with an XBL issue, i had to cancel my xbl account to reactivate it with a game card. but i couldn't find my old credit card which had expired, i prolly threw it away. so they couldn't help me cancel my account...

about 8 hours later, i turn on my xbox and get the 3 red blinking rings. 7 days b4 masseffect, 2 b4 AC.

i gotta send them my f***ing xbox tomorrow. and wait, what? 3 weeks? 4?...... SF lame day

so yea.....MS hates me, or maybe god.......prolly both.

do they ship back 360's with falcon chip in them now? whats the deal with that? also this is my first 360, got it august 2006 and i thought i was one of the lucky ones.

I'd be more worried about missing Rock Band.

At least it'll be fixed for free, as little comfort as that is.

So sorry when it rains it poors.... I just hope my 360 holds out for the mass effect weekend... I have a feeling it might take the fall I have had it for 2 years almost, and preying that I got a healthy machine..

Mine is on its way to Microsoft right now, and I have Rock Band pre-ordered...

I'm hesitant to believe anyone on this issue because of fanboys on these forums. I've had mine since launch and have had not a problem. Retailers estimate that the defective rate for the 360 is at about 20-25%. Which is already high but at least they're fixed for free.

Call MS, send it in (takes about 5 days for the box to get there i believe), wait 2-3 weeks and it's back.

Again, if it's true then, well, at least it's fixed for free. Just be happy you don't have to pay to get it fixed. My PS2 got the Disc Read error on me and wouldn't read any games. I ended up paying $100 to get it fixed despite the fact that numerous people and reports were pointing out problems with this.

such a big month for the 360.. you know AC, ME, and Rock band. i think im going to not play my 360, until AC, ME and rock band comes out, at fear of the RROD.
