The challenge they have is that third parties aren't going to make much money on this platform because Nintendo is going to make all that money, and their ability to compete with something like a Halo or produce an experience like Madden on their system is going to be tough. They don't have the graphics horsepower that even Xbox 1 had. So it makes sort of the comparison set a little bit difficult.

:lol: I own a Wii but I think it's plain for everyone to see Wii is under powered, even next to Xbox 1. Games like Ninja Gaiden black and Riddick kill anything on Wii.

From everything Nintendo is putting out now Graphics have taken a back burner to every other aspect of the Wii.   It seems to be working right now.   In my case though I will take the Graphics any day.   Sure Wii might have some great playing games that are a lot of fun.  Well the 360 (and Ps3) also have some great games that are really fun, but those same games will also have amazing graphics.

Well my 360 hasn't broke yet and I got it in early '06.

i am surprised that he did not say the xbox was better than the 360... i only had one xbox break and need to be repaired... i have had my 360 break twice and my powersupply break once...

the wii is a more powerful machine than the 360's little bro.  there are no games really to prove that yet other than maybe Zelda.  it is a gorgeous game and it is of cube orgins.  the wii will certainly surpass the xbox in graphically impressive games.

I have an Xbox, 360 and a Wii (almost typed cube by accident), and can honestly say that not a single Wii game even comes close to games like Riddick,  Ninja Gaide, Panzer Dragoon, or, well pretty much anything released after 2003 on Xbox.

Hell, half of the games even aren't up to GameCube standards, and it had some awesome looking games too like Baten Katos, Pikmin 2, Rogue Squadron, etc... 

-WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY IS A FACT:

The wii has better technical specs than the Xbox1.

The wii is not as powerful technologically as the Xbox360.

The wii is also not as powerful technologically as the PS3.

Graphics don't make games.  OOT is still better than your precious MGS and your HALO.

I seem to remember a certain website suggesting that you buy Madden for the Wii over the other consoles...

There is graphical potential in the Wii that has not been reached by any Wii game currently available.  (Come on folks, you all know how this works)

Zelda Twilight Princess looked amazing on the Wii, however it had GCN graphics.  This shows two things... the GCN was a pretty damn good system.  Secondly, we can expect even better graphics in the future.

So MS was once again wrong and spreading slander, please do not endorse it.

The Wii will be able to push more then enough horsepower for games to look terrific on it.  Considering the Xbox and GC were pretty close to each other in power, and the Wii is a "beefed up" GC, it will end up producing better graphics that the original Xbox ever did.  It just may take awhile for games to come out that do so.

Doesn't matter though, considering the Wii already had a handful of games released for it that would never have been realized on the Xbox.

I don't really care either way, because I bought my Wii for two GameCube ports anyways: Super Paper Mario & Fire Emblem.

But I haven't seen a single thing that outclasses the Xbox in any way from a technical standpoint, nor have I seen proof that Wii is as, or more powerful than Xbox. An official specification sheet has NEVER been released. Just off the top of my head, I can say that Wii is technically inferior to Xbox because it lacks Support for 5.1 audio, complex shaders and resolutions higher than 480p.

I love my Wii, but The Xbox is still a better machine, and it's five years old.

ok ok ok... here we have a cow saying that he hasn't seen anything on the wii that's better than what could be seen on the xbox.  Is is just me, or are you on the wrong side of this considering the situation between cows and lemmings in regards to PS3's graphical capabilities?  What is the argument the cows are using when people are saying 360 has just as good of graphics?  Now please apply that argument to the wii.  THANK YOU.

(for those of you that may be slow, the cows are stating the the only reason 360 games look as good as ps3 games is because ps3 is new and so the games haven't reached their potential, which is true and a valid point.  The sheep are using the same argument because it is also true.  games that come out at the beginning of a systems life don't look as good as games that come out a couple years down the road, it's that simple.  EXAMPLE: HALO1 vs. HALO2  Same system... big upgrade in graphics.)

I don't hate the Wii.....I just feel its potentials are not being met. And I don't see it being met anytime soon, no matter how many times, how adament Sheep brag about 3rd party games.

IN other news, the MS public relations team released information that states the 360 is more powerful than the sun and could beat Kasparov better than Deep Blue.  Also Bill Gates is a babe magnet and the 360 has a failure rate of only %3 which is the lowest of any console in history.

Looks at Star wars rogue squadron on the Gamecube which looked better then 85% of Xbox game with less graphical horse power.

Not the amount of power its how you use it ;)
