looks that way. first Microsoft said standard HD is not important, then HDMI not important, then 1080p not important and now all of sudden just because PS3 has it they are doing it for the 360 !

So you are calling halve of the lemmings in SW stupid? (MGS4 rumors).
Its not a stupid rumour because there is a realistic chance of it happening based on current sales trends and games going multiplatform that are not (moneyhatted) locked up exclusivily to a platform.
Should i start a thread on how the PS3 copied the Wii with motion controls? Or how the PS3 went back on its statement that rumble was last gen and copied the 360? Come on... these rumours would make little sense for Microsoft and they are far too smart for that.

Most lemmings in SW DO start threads about Sony copying Nintendo, etc. If you want to start another MANY of those threads be my guest, I will certainly won't call anyone stupid. I can see it getting DVR functionalities, also it got and HDMI port. Motion controls also seem reasonable. HD-DVD, now that would be stupid.
The 360 got an HDMI port because there was a demand for it. Only certain HDTV's could accept HDMI input i believe and Microsoft needed to include this because it is seen as superior to VGA although i don't know how true that is. With motion controls and HD-DVD's there is little demand for those features. Maybe for a new exclusive franchise or something that where you could not use motion controls might be a possibility but i am willing to make a bet it would not affect the rest of Microsofts games. HD-DVD there is no chance of it happening unless it was only for movies and i don't think there are enough of people out there that really care about high def movies right now for it to be a viable sku for MS, plus they are interested in digital downloads not HD-DVD or Blu-ray so there is little for them to gain.
I come here occasionally to be amused by the fanboys arguing over small things so i don't read a lot of threads. Too many fanboys to have a decent debate.....
