It sold 4.4 million units last holiday. With halo around we can easily assume MS will sale 6 million. It's not over yet. GTA 4 will come march next year. I think this GTA delay has proven to be a bless for them. They will obviously sell another 2-1.5 millioninat GTA launch. So total 8 million in 6 months. ps3 may get 4-5 mil and wii also 4-5 mil. So who's the winner in the end? 360.

this is joking right?You can't honestly believe that its installed base is really going to almost double let alone out sell the Wii.

How do you know most if not everyone who wants Halo 3 and is willing to pay $60 a year to play it online and deal with the RRODdoesn't already have a 360?

What's left for the 360 this year after Halo? Mass Effect and that's it.

I just love how 360 supporters put all their money on Halo. It's like if Halo somehow fails then the 360 fails and if Halo is a success then the 360 will be a success. Too badtwo Halos on Xbox couldnt save it even from the horrid Gamecube

You do realize this thread is going to be ownage for Cows if Halo3 fails to sale consoles right? Do you people realize Halo2 only sold 8-10 million units right? You can't honestly think people were just waiting to buy an X360 for Halo3. After all you guys keep hammering how good the software lineup has been over the past 2 years. There are better reasons to own an X360 right now that has nothing to do with Halo3.

Btw, how can GTA4 come out next March, they've been saying April 08 is the target. if they say April just add a month or two because this game is going to keep getting delayed.

If you got that number from MS, read their statements carefully. They specifcally state their numbers are shipped, not sold. I do think there should be 11 million sold but the number MS gave months ago (their year end number in July) was shipped (11.5 million) not sold.
