Now lets look at this line up, the ps3 has mostly shooter and action. Folk lord is the only jrpg in Sony's 2007 lineup which is going to be dominated by MS's Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Lost Odyssey.

The PS3 still does not have an answer for forza 2 and with PGR4 coming out for the xbox 360, the ps3 will be far behind.

Now if you would rather have sony's 2007 lineup than xbox 360's line up then it is your perference, but I bet the majority of people prefer xbox 360's lineup.

If I missed anything please let me know.

Yea, sony shown a lot of games that is coming out in 2008 but Microsoft shown games that is coming out this year during the e3's conference.

I bet Microsoft has something up their sleeves for 2008 but there is no argument that Ms's line up is better than sony's line up this year.

Lol, wait til you guys see the first commercial on t.v. for UT3... you'll quickly re-evaluate that statement. I just watched the HD trailer downloaded from PSN. This game not only crushes Halo... it looks like it's going to crush EVERY other online FPS including Haze & Killzone. And as far as graphics, it pisses on Gears. And to top it all off, the deal with Sony solidifies that Epic is making the better version of the game for the PS3! With mods included! Game over.

Those are remakes. Who knows how good half of them will be but PSN has way more original titles coming to the network.

Well Killzone will be out be for UT3 comes out on the 360. Plus, Epic is making the superior version for the PS3. PLUS, Haze is looking freakin awesome as well. Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Warhawk, Little Big Planet, & Rachet all pretty much look better than the collective 360 lineup for 07 with the exception of Halo 3 and Mass Effect. This year's lineup is stacked pretty one sidedly in Sony's favor.

I disagree I think the 360's lineup beats out ps3's 2007 lineup. With games like Halo3 Mass effect bioshock eternal sonata, pgr4,blue dragoon, Splinter cell,ace combat not to mention virtua fighters online and the superior version of grand theft auto 4 beats out the lackluster ps3 lineup although they do get to play unreal and haze first. but next year is when sony shows its big guns

PS3 by far. Besides, considering that it's earlier in the PS3's lifespan, it would be understandable for them to be behind in the game libraries. But the upcoming titles for PS3 this year are great IMO, they are for the most part some pretty fresh ideas being introduced which makes them more appealing in my eyes. Lair is a great idea and if it comes together with solid gamplay it will be amazing. Heavenly Sword also has alot of potential for being a very entertaining experience. Home will fill the gap between online gaming and the psn store making more useful of an addition to the PS3's online gaming than most people imagine.

Yeah PS3 may be behind in racing games ATM, but not that far considering Motorstorm is one of the funnest racers I've ever played. And when GT5 comes out we ALL will see whos shamefully far behind in their racing titles.

I'm sure that Halo 3 will be a blast and i look foward to playing it at a friends house. But its the same ol' shooter. With all the games full of 8-13 year olds calling each other names and killing their teammates. Bioshock looks really fun, but then again its just a ANOTHER shooter. PGR is need for speed with kudos, meh on that one.

But to be perfectly honest this topic is faulty IMO cause comparing software titles with almost a years difference in hardware release time is pretty ridiculous. Of course the console with a longer lifespan has more games. Common logic.

Really??? Well that is your opinion but if you look closely at MS's line up it is better than ps3's lineup because it is diverse.

Ps3 has mostly shooters and action but no racing. I bet if you could switch lineups you would not hesitate to take MS's 2007 lineup.

Yea that is the whole point. Sony is not competing Microsoft's gaming library in 2006 but it is competing it now. If you keep comparing sony to the past then it will never be sucessful.

SC isnt going anywhere other than the 360 or PC,As such,UT3 isnt a PS3 exclusive either.The PC version is coming out at the same time.
