Well, I'm thinking of buying couple games like Assassins Creed, Call of Duty 4, Guitar Hero III, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, NBA 2k8, Rainbow Six Vegas etc... But on what platform? I know people say PS3 isn't that good as the 360 but it has free online, but the 360 has achievements(idk why but I kinda think their funny:D) So wich platform? Should I buy games for PS3 for online and 360 for offline(can't pay gold atm) or what?

Now a days, teh Ports are pretty much Dead Even. It all comes down to controller preference.

For the most part, multi-platform games are about same on X360 and PS3. Since you don't pay for Live then I would suggest the PS3 version in most cases. That way you can play online for free. Also another tip since it sounds like you don't play online yet. The key to enjoying online with either system is to add people you enjoy to your friends list. A good friends list on either system can make the difference.

I can think of three multiplats that have xbox live online play but online play is missing from the ps3 version. Virtua Fighter 5, Virtua tennis and TH Project 8.

How many more multiplats are going to have online play missing from the PS3.

Still you get what you pay for.
