Must haves! 360, PC, and Wii got um'. PS3 don't :(

Every gamer knows it. Its all about the must have games. Games that both appeal to the hardcore and casual. Those same games make systems fly off shelves.Not that the Wii needed it, but Mario Galaxy is finally here. Everybody loves Mario, and we've been waiting since Mario 64for a true sequal.

It doesn't hurt that Nintendo also has Metroid 3, and Super Smash Bros either. Themost interesting part is that Microsoft and Nintendo are moving systems without these must have system sellers. Heavenly Sword, Lair, and Warhawk would not move 360's, so what makes PS3 fanboys think they can move $600 consoles.:|

We can talk about how many exclusives are here or there, but it's these main games thatwe all wait for, which make us buy consoles or invest in that new PC. That's it, plain and simple.

I don't think Ninja Gaiden 2 is officially an exclusive game yet. With the popularity of sales for Ninja Gaiden Sigma looking good, it looks like PS3 might see a port.

The PS3 has system sellers, it has more coming - no offense, but you seem like you have fanboy tendancies in which you want the PS3 to fail and try to justify why it will fail with so-called facts you've accumulated from previous threads creating your own rehash of negativity in which the reality is that you probably don't even own a PS3, yet speak about it like you do.

You needn't bother. They'remostly from Playstation/Sony fanzines or fansites, which doesn't make them very trustworthy. I'll wait for the unbiased reviews to come out for those.

To the TC, I agree that the 360 and PC have the "must have" games. I am the proud owner of both platforms. I don't currently own a PS3, but it would be foolish to think that the current situation will last much longer. Sony will roll out their big hitting games soon while MS will continue churning out great games. It's better for us all if all consoles do well.

I don't see myself bying a PS3 for a while though :( Sony seems to think that us Europeans prefer bundle deals to price cuts and $850+ for a console is still way to high.

• Final Fantasy XIII isn't being released until 2009, however...
• Metal Gear Solid 4 is being released in 2008.
• Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is being released this year, and it should be amazing.
• Playstation 3 owners have Resistance: Fall of Man to play until then.
