MW2 demo out on XBL and PSN!!!

That's just a fail imo.

This is how demos should be released.

But meh, the superior Flower got a demo on PSN today. Id reccommend getting that first.

OT: What the hell happened? You went from sporting one of the hardest sigs around to the complete opposite :lol: had to double check the name.

MP demo would have been nice. Six years later people still play the Battlefield 1942 demo on the PC, which I think is funny.

Isn't that what Activision did with World At War as well? I guess they don't seem to understand what demos are meant for.

Probably 1 guy had to do the demo for both versions then seeing how it took that long. the actual team is busy counting the money and making new map packs for $15

They understand just fine. They understand when your game sells solely on hype, a demo before launch will hurt you.

Everybody is bashing the MW2 demo for coming out so late but it took the Uncharted 2 demo a long time to be released as well. :?

demos can actually reduce sales. not releasing a demo limits the opportunity for the consumers to sate their curiosity about the game, short of buying it.

with a demo, there's a chance for players to get a negative perspective on the product, if they didn't like it. with pure positive marketing, previews, etc, that is the only perspective available on the product.
