MW2 Haters

I have seen too many threads about how this game will be just like CoD4...Look it's a SEQUEL. Will there be similarities in the gameplay? of course but the point is MW2 is going to be a HUGE improvement over CoD4. New perks, guns, customizable kill streaks, the AC130. I just don't get all the hate this game is getting. It's like people who must SUCK at CoD4 don't understand how awesome it is, and then want the next game they will suck at even more to flop. I really want to know why people hate on this game so much. WaW is a rehash I will admit it, and that's why I did not buy WaW. Plus Treyarch is teh lame.

I don't have a problem with CoD. I have a problem with Activision.

It annoys me to hell that they raised the price of it because they knew it would sell well.

Nonetheless, I have pre-ordered the game. :P

I don't understand why people waste their time with all of the ranting about this game. It's hilarious.Either you buy it or you don't. Why waste the energy? It's probably going to be very good and sell a bazillion copies..

I dont hate CoD4. The only aspect that I dislike is the infinate respawning in the SP.

We just don't like that there are rumors that it will cost more for the regular addition in UK and map packs are already planned.

Not to mention we get more of the casual-fest that will be praised to heaven and back. Sickening.

THe bright side of the ordeal, is that the campaign will more than likely be a spectacle with some clever set-piece moments that everyone will be able to play through in a rental and go on in life.

Im buying it. Infinity ward made it..not activision. Activision is publishing it.

I had fun playing cod4 until i beat the single player and to lvl 55 in mp. After that though the game is kinda...well worthless, yeah you can prestige but why would i want to give up guns i already earned...and besides no one cares if you prestige.

So for me unless they make single player more than 5-6 hours on veteran and have something to make you actually stay after lvl 55 then i dont see this game making me want to buy it. Thats just me though

First of all Activision sucks, very, very badly. Secondly, CoD4 sucks, very, very badly. Therefore, I will do whatever I can to not support Activision and whatever they crap out next for ignorant fans to eat up.enterawesome

Well While I wouldn't say I am a MW2 hater, but I am fairly diaapointed with IW and Activision. It isn't anything to do with being broke I was going to get the Prestiege Edition, but I am going to get it for the PC and there is no Prestiege, or Hardenred Edition, just the $60 normal edition, with no extra stuff.

reason 2 new cod game every year aka small development time

reason 3 new price stradegy

There are no MW2 haters, only Activision haters.

I don't think it's worth it.. I mean it's 10 dollars above the regular price of another game for a UAV camping nadefest with a short SP. Eh.. I rather not spend money on it.

Unless they completely overhaul their engine and their technique MW2 is not a "HUGE" diffrence from CoD 4. There will be minor diffrences. Some graphical tweaks, a few gameplay items thrown in, a new plot, some new maps, but at the end of the day it's still the same game with the same problems as its predessecor. There has been no imagination put into CoD 6, IW don't care ifit's a complete rehash. They arn't the mega talented developers they are made out to be.

CoD 4 was an easy 5 hour long single player game with a medicore multiplayer tacked one that was made popular because of how easy it was to play. It's like Counter Strike, but without the nessecary application of the brain. It was a complete waste of time and money, and the fact they are charging over the standard price for a subpar game is sickening.

And how is this non sequitur relevant to what he said or to this topic?

As for topic, people don't actually hate MW2, they just hate Activision and as expected the hatred will affect MW2 as well. Activision's practices are bad for consumers and the gaming industry in general so that is a good reason to complain.

its impossible to suck at the game. the game is toooo noobish. fast twitchy gameplay and lack of recoil=ownage

I loved COD4 and COD5 and Im sure the next game will be brilliant.

BUT Im not for the raiing of the price of games. Its already gone uo from last gen and soon its going to get too much.

Next gen I might understand but this gen just no, I mean even next gen there will be more gamers so I dont see why price raises are needed.
