i don't think anyone could see MW2 be among Top 5 best-sellers of all time in 3 and a half weeks in the ukThat isn't surprising news.

fixed. Okami was nothing special IMO. A Zelda clone.
However, I do agree great games don't ALWAYS sell. I mis-spoke a bit. But generally, you make an amazing game, and people will buy it, including gamers who don't follow every bit of gaming news like us. Bioshock, for example.
To anyone looking to pick it up, I strongly suggest waiting a month or two and picking it up used when everyone gets over it and trades it in. I liked the campaign a lot, but I can't see myself playing too much of the multiplayer. It's the same thing as COD4, and I filled up on COD4 two years ago. For some reason I predict this game going back to EB and Gamestop in droves.
Good job to IW for breaking all these sales records, but I think it came at the expense of some credibility. It's very clear that Activision is pulling the strings now. They still delivered a quality product, so I will tune in for their next one, but I may not be first in line to buy it at launch next time.

I would question 3 of the 4 you listed as being "good games" but like you said, personal taste is personal taste.

All of those sold over 200k, I don't see why people call that "not selling".
