MW2- Tactical nuke perk wtf

So apparently if you get a kill streak of 25 kills you get the tactical nuke perk, which from the video most likely kills everyone in the whole field (ending the round). Anyone think this is a little bit too much?

this is why i want dedicated servers, so you could play without these kinds of things.

Seeing how there are plenty of leaked copies of it around and plenty of footage up around on youtube, I don't really doubt that it is legit (mw2blog.com is a reliable site). And lol if I don't like the perk don't buy the game? Because the entire game revolves around one perk..... yes... mmmmm.

I read about a Oil Spills Perk, a Toxic Waste Can perk, a Tactical Nuke Perk, a Tornado Perk, Submarine Perk, and a 747 perk, this sounds great. I am going to snipe and then perk the heck out of everyone! :)

I'm buying this used, due to ACTIVISION...but I love good ads, and this one was pretty funny.

If you look at the screen shot at the top of the screen, next to the nuke icon it says "End the game with a bang" So yeah everyone dies and the round finishes.

Jeez.

This game is a game of n00btastic proportions!

Seriously though, Why do they need to add something like that?

that's pretty cool, but there is no way i will ever get a 25 kill streak. I hope it doesn't happen a lot, though; that would be really annoying.

Why are people acting like this is a big deal, I've gotten a 25 killstreak once in like 80 hours on CoD4, it's not like it happens all the time, and I guarantee the perk will only even get used by the best of the best.bobbetybob

While in cod4, they were pretty hard to come by (except in a map like kill house), I think maybe in mw2 they will be easy to get. Uav Jammer plus silenced sniper rifle sitting in the corner of a map somewhere, using ac-130 and air strikes and such. I don't think it would be too hard.

That was a search and destroy game (where you don't respawn after you die) and he only won the round, not the game.

To be fair to IW unless they've significantly lengthened the matches, the game is pretty much over by the time you rack up 25 kills anyway (let alone 25 straight).

Still stupid as **** though.

There's a slim amount of people that pull off a 25 kill streak, i dont expect to encounter this to much. I like the idea of rewarding the better people though. There's some good players in COD.Kokuro_Kun

And also you can only pick 3 of the killstreaks, so you'll probably only see this once every 500 games or somethhing like that.

why are people so annoyed by this perk? its not like a lot of you can get a 25 kill streak going consistently in a match, and if you're good enough to kill everyone 25 times in a row, the match deserves to be ended anyway because of the imbalance...

Gameplay tweaks for better players is a stupid idea. So a player that's clearly better than everyone in the match gets abilities that make it even easier for him to get kills. There's a little thing called balancing that IW has no concept of...

Having a ranking system and unlockable weapons that don't affect the gameplay (IE: Golden Desert Eagle, etc.) is fine though. These perks are just dumb.

Something tells me this game is gonna turn into a campfest, then again it could be like "Protect the guy with a 20 kill streak so he can get 25 and win the round for you!". Then again we also have the deathstreaks, making those who keep getting killed get the advantage, which can make getting 25 kills even harder.

You know that footage looks very familiar. Like a certain dessert industry dlc map for a game that came out this year were a nuke goes off throughout match.;)

getting a 25 kill streak in KZ2 is soo easy. lmao just go invisible, get the c4s, and just sit the entire game in one spot, whileyou wait for people to die. I do it all the time :P

That seems a little bit extreme. Isn't it enough for the guy to have gotten 25 kills without dying anyway?

let me put it this way

if you go 25-0 you have preaty much won already

especialy since I've read that kills from stuff like ac-130, aistrike etc WON'T count toward the killstreak number as they do in MW1, so you have to get 25 genuen kills by shooting/stabing/nading people

it makes sense, and should have been in MW1. honestly, how fair is it when you bring down the wrath of the gods onto a part of a map where no one can hide, or they spawned, etc, which then builds up onto another nearly unstoppable weapon of mass destruction to get free kills?

If you get to the point where someone on the opposite team gets a 25 kill streak, you have no right to be angry if they can automatically win the round.
