Not really SW stuff... but if you want my answer, it would be, get it for the console you actually own.
BUT if you want my TRUE answer, it would be... don't get it at alllol
Alright, I decided to go here to ask this question(considering that this is a site about games). Its for the MW3. Now, as of now I'm planning on pre-ordering the MW3 xbox. Yet I want my prestige edition this year. I have it under my ps3. I play that one more(obviously). Yet should I get it for the xbox? Larger multi-player, or should I get it for my ps3, with the HD? Just give me advantages for both, and what one you honestly thing I should do. Answer if you have both of them please. Welcome you other guys from the other post 2 :PBobThePanda1
First of all. both games have a huge community, online, on both consoles secondly "get it for the PS3 for the HD":lol: The 360 is also an HD console, the game actually looks and plays better in 360 than PS3. So I would say get it for the 360
Buy Battlefield 3 for ur PC or ur PS3. Unless u enjoy playing the same game for the 5th time and getting ripped off for map packs. As well as the screaming 12yr olds and the unbalanced gameplay. If you want a REAL game buy Battlefield 3.

Oh really? Because going by past releases in both series, Battlefield games tend to have WAY more content and replay value...and you don't need to shove off 15$ every couple of months.
And CoD the best game in the world? Really? You either have very bad taste in games or are very easily swayed by marketing campaigns.
I said it's the most entertaining game in the world.
I have over 30 games for the 360, and MW2 and BO alone have more than 20x playtime than the rest combined.
Also, replay value. Is that why BF has like 15,000 online while COD has 1 million?
It's posts like this that make me facepalm on system wars. "Let me just criticize this one game franchise for reiterating, over pricing dlc and being unbalanced while simultaneously praising another franchise that is constantly reiterated, has over priced dlc and unbalanced gameplay"Buy Battlefield 3 for ur PC or ur PS3. And your are pulling these numbers from where? And Entertaining is subjective. it might be for you. It's not for others. Also, it's logical for CoD to have higher numbers...because it sold more, because it's the only thing the casuals play. While informed gamers actually have STANDARDS.

If we measured everything purely by popularity then Justin Beiber is a musical genius by our times. I'm not saying CoD is bad but claiming it's the most entertaining game in the world is a bit presumptuous. Likewise, just because one game is more popular than another does not mean it has more replay value. It just means it's more popular.[QUOTE="QQabitmoar"]

All games are fun, COD is fun too but slowly the games becomes horrible and it gets exposed with flaws. COD4 lasted me 3 years before the fun ran out. Battlefield came out in 2005 and I still have alot of fun. Also CASUAL Gamers and KIDs prefer COD because its much more rewarding even where you're bad at it.[QUOTE="QQabitmoar"]

And don't bring the AAA rating in the discussion. It's common knowledge at this point, noone even tried to deny that Acti used 'special tactics' to get high ratings.

1) CoD is pretty much the same on all platforms, so it doesn't matter what console you get it for.
2) My suggestion is you cancel the CoD pre-order and go pre-order a game called Battlefield 3. It's 30 times better than CoD, and is one of the best FPS' to come out this gen.
3) You can't see your legs in CoD (last gen technology), but you can see your legs in BF3!!! (next gen technology)

People like you probably are on 15th prestige on BO, play the game hours on end. There are people out there, 75% of people in COD sit down after school for kids or work for normal casual players and play it for an hour till they get bored or whatever. But I have not always find it fun.
It was very fun in the beginning, like to 2nd prestige.
Then I started getting a bit bored, and slowed down.
Then I felt the urge to play it again, played some prestiges. Etc.
And it was in the spring I got very good at COD and used to enjoy daily games.
So it is this special thing that COD makes with us, always pulling us back to the game. Something BF can't do. It rather pushes you away.
Umm...I don't really understand. The console versions of MW3 will be the same, so I don't know where you are getting this larger multiplayer battle stuff from. Are you actually talking about the PC? Anyways I will just say get it for the system you have the most fun playing on.

CoD4 being more influential than any BF game, is something you seem to ignore.
And with the exception of graphics and visuals, MW3 improves on as much as BF3 (at least).

I would be the first to argue that both versions play the same. I think people who talk about "superior" multiplats are just talking out of their ass and only think that way becasue of what they hear from internet fanboys and nitpicky lens of truth.
PC - BF3 360 - MW3 PS3 - MAG, KZ, Warhawk, Resistance MW3 is actually the weakest option out of all of them, but probably the best option available to Xbox360 players.LazySloth718

CoD4. An excellent game. for 2007. I had tons of FUN with it, for about a year. Then it got boring. Next CoD? More of the same. Next CoD? More of the same. And then? You guessed it. More.of.the.same. Didn't even need to buy them to realise they were the same thing. THe genre evolved. Standards in graphics and gameplay changed. Yet CoD refuses to use a new engine, refuses to allow true player freedom and most importantly refuses to change. Why? Because it CAN. By cashing in on yearly rehases, grabbing the money of uninformed and easily swayed brainless consumers who don't know better quality products are out there because they are too braindead to look into it more.
CoD is driven by marketing.
Battlefield is driven by quality.
FACT.
CoD is driver by marketing... Lol. Why change it, if it's not broken?
>True. For 1 or 2 sequels. The 5th time you release the same game though, it's downright pathetic.
CoD4 being more influential than any BF game, is something you seem to ignore.
>Oh. That's why CoD4 ripped off Battlefield 2's leveling system and the modern setting?
And with the exception of graphics and visuals, MW3 improves on as much as BF3 (at least).
>That's why the internets have exploded over how similar the games looks to MW2?Not talking only visually, but gameplay wise as well.

whoa you fail so hard.
are you not able to comprehend his sentences?
let me break it down to you in bullet points to prove you wrong.
1. He thinks that Cod can be fun and people think its fun.
2. He believes that people don't know about games like BF3 because COd has had superior marketing.
3. Thus, sales don't really mean that one game is more fun than the other.
4. You say that COd is the most fun game, But hes trying to say that its not for HIM.
People these days are getting a little _____ by the day.Ribnarak
EA will have the biggest EVER ad campaign for BF3. You fail...
You wrote COD has superior marketing campaign. You thus fail.
