MW3 introduces "Prestige Shop"- using your old save data into MW3

IW announced a new feature on MW3 called Prestige Shop, now what is this exactly? Prestige Shop basically lets you chose what reward you should get everytime you Prestige in the game, from weapons or perks to stay unlocked the whole time you play to exclusive emblems and more.

Another thing was announced is that you can use your old MW2, CoD4, W@W and Black Ops save data and move them into MW3 to get free tokens for your Prestige Shop only if you went Prestige on the named games.

Same, i been playing lots of MW2 lately so i may just Prestige again

I rarely prestige though.

MW1 - P1 (Didn't like the idea and the icons were lame IMO)

World at War - Didn't Prestige

Modern Warfare 2 - Prestige 7

Black Ops - Didn't even make it to the top rank on zero prestige (got bored)

---Plus I played these games mostly on the Xbox 360. Black Ops was on PC and PS3. I rarely play it now any ways, so I won't get any perks out of it.

I also don't like playing Call of Duty on PC either....prefered it on consoles. (Played Call of Duty 1 and 2 on PC though)

Haven't played any CoD enough to prestige. Pretty bad idea anyways.

That's cool, except for the part where I'm getting the PC version and my save for MW2 and Blops is on my broken 360 and the PC version of CoD 4 had no prestiges.

4? :o :o.. picture or it never happened lol. man im at 2.05 and ppl get amazed how high it is and your saying a 4? wow u got to take some pics i never ever seen a KDR of 4 or heck higher than 3.1 and i play CoD A LOT! :P

I also played a tons of Gears of War 2 and got a K/D of 3.2 before I switched to PS3-prime.

(Super easy to increase k/d and/or win games on Gears of War 2. Everyone uses shotgun, and I always use Lancer, rarely use shotgun. I win most of the time because I know how to use the lancer and keep my distance. Yet, people were still determined to wall bounce and try to get me. They get down and down before they could get to me. Tisk TIsk)

I think there is a way if its black ops you go to the website and log in there if its not balck ops then no other way but to have the game in your system and check it out yourself, tho its ok if you cant no big deal :P

I think there is a way if its black ops you go to the website and log in there if its not balck ops then no other way but to have the game in your system and check it out yourself, tho its ok if you cant no big deal :P

My current K/D is 2.17 >.>. My brother screwed up my K/D. Oh well, I gave him my 360 and Gold Account when I went PC-prime because I had no use for it, and his gold ran out.

I know my K/D before I stop playing the game was at least 3.0. That was my goal in most games when I played on 360. You don't have trust me if you don't want to. I don't care lol..not trying to brag or anything.

Doubt the prestiges from other games will count on the Wii version, but hopefully this overall feature makes it into the Wii game because thats really cool

I think its lame that they keep selling the same game over and over by just adding a "3" and calling it a day.

ac2 = ac:b

halo 3 = reach

gears 1/2 = gears 3

ratchet TOD = ratchet ACIT

Yakuza 3 = yakuza 4

dead space = dead space 2

all with minor changes.

of course people only like to pick on cod.

Wrong. Armor abilities made Reach into the horrible game it is. Halo 3 was awesome without them.

Well, even if Dead Space is boring at least it doesn't have shameless yearly releases.

Well MW3 is pretty much going to be the same as the last 3-4 COD games, so it's not a surprise that you can carry over your old data...

That's actually a really great idea. Its a shame I only prestiged once with each game (other then WaW where I never prestiged), but this new prestige shop might make people want to play more MW3 AND more MW2 and 1. Smart move.
