My biggest issues w/ the next-gen consoles

PS3 - Upscaling (720p games, downscale to 480p if you TV only supports 480p and 1080i...which is 90% of older HDTV's)

360 - Unreliable (On my 4th 360 atm :(, longest turn around time 37 days :(...on my 3rd 360)

Wii - Graphics (I'm not a graphics whore, but I am tired of looking at jaggies and low-res textures...when I shoot someone in the face I want to be sure that I shot him in the face, not in the neck)

I agree. This generation is sort of disappointing.

The PS3 is difficult to develop games for, the 360 doesn't work, and the Wii is... well... it's the Wii...

The next generation will well than make up for this one ten fold. My reasoning is that every company will try and push the limit in interactivity, gimmicky or not. This is good in the fact that at least I can count on actual good visuals and good games WITH this interactivity versus one system...

I haven't been too impressed with the games yet. Bioshock and Orange Box, specifically, Half Life 2, have impressed me the most and Half Life 2 isn't even new. Gotta keep waiting. Maybe til 08, except Mass Effect probably won't disappoint.
