My favorite part of E3 was all the backpedaling done by the Sony fanboys

after realizing that Sony is going to charge you to play online...and then they attempted to mask it by constantly bringing up the pricetag and MS's policies. Something that would otherwise be considered getting "screwed" is now generally accepted. "Oh, wait...Sony's charging us too now? Meh, it's no big deal, it's just once a year."

I own a vita, ps3 and soon a ps4. I know i'm going to get free games across those three platforms. I don't have a problem paying for psn plus. 

My favorite part was when Jack Tretton owned M$ so hard that lems completely vanished from SW until M$ was forced to reverse their policies due to laughably low pre-order numbers.

I personally will not pay $50 a year to play online because I hardly do. I play with friends locally much more often. I never once made fun of Xbox live but of course if people asked for my thoughts on the two consoles (PS3 and 360) obviously I would mention that if the person wants to play online they would have to pay on the Xbox. The way things are now are more similar but again I if someone asks me for my thoughts on the consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) I will mention that  if someone intends to play online (aside from F2P) it will cost around the same on both consoles but free games will also be given out on PS4 and all that jazz.

M$ did a 180 because nobody was pre-ordering their console. It had nothing to do with consumer rights. They will patch that shit back in as soon as they sucker people into buying it.

Before it was an issue because microsoft was forcing users to pay for something sony was giving for free. The problem is gone now because both charge, so its a level field. The argument earlier was simply "Why should I pay for something when this other company gives it to me for free.

With that said, it still isnt a big deal because sony gives its users value for their money, something microsoft still isnt doing.

Microsoft charges you to talk with friends, or even use your netflix account. Sony does not with the PS4 because they stated party cross game chat, netflix access, and other type of internet access will be free for everyone.

Microsoft makes users buy XBLG in order to even play "free" online games. Sony does not, dc universe online, warframe, planetside 2 and other online free games have specifically been said by sony as not needing a PS+ paid account.

Sony has specifically said that they leave publishers and developers to make up their own mind if they want their online games to be behind a PS+ wall or not. So not every single game on the PS4 will require a PS+ account, its left up to the publishers and developers. Microsoft on the other hand put everything behind a pay wall.

XBLG charges 60 dollars a year and gives you 2 full games a month. Sony charges 50 dollars a year for PS+ and they give you 18 games instantly, 5 new full games a month, discounts on the PSN store, online game save backups, full game demos and more.

PS3 and Vita will continue to be 100% free as they always have been.
